Over my expectations, chill hotel
Pros: It was actually by far the cheapest option in the Amsterdam. People are very chill, it has a young - chilling vibe. They let you spin the wheel for a gift after check-in! We got alcohol for our part, which we couldn't consume as Muslims, they offered haribo instead which was actually very considerate of them. However, it has a pork jelatin too. Still the effort was outstanding! Rooms were good, maybe the toilet is a bit small, but for the price it was good. There's a decent chunk of walking from public transports, but it has more to do with Amsterdam than anything. Either a bike or ton of walking. They have opportunities to rent a bike as well however the lady which I asked about bikes told me that there's a big QR and there I can learn about it. It was my preference to hear it from a person, and the attitude was not nice. Other than that, hotel was pretty good.
Cons: Lady who was negative about us asking for info Shower area gets wet after taking a shower. Can be improved

Pros: The room and the private bathroom were both very clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly (and even gave us free shots!) The hostel has free parking and is a short walk from the train station, where you can get a train to the city centre in 5 minutes for โฌ3.

Brilliant family friendly accommodation ๐
Pros: We loved the location, so handy and close to the train station station. The stand out feature were the amazing staff. So helpful and fun. We had 4 kids with us ranging from 3 to 12 yrs old and they were chatted to and played with during our stay. They had great fun playing fussball and table tennis everyday.
Cons: Our shower overflowed on tbe second day but it was fixed and tidied up quickly by the super helpful staff

My studio room with kitchenette provided a practical, affordable base for my stay in Amsterdam.
Pros: I liked the size and facilities of my self-contained studio room: the kitchenette featured microwave, fridge, kettle, and had a plate, bowl and cutlery, plus washing up liquid. The bathroom provided towels, 2-in-1 shampoo and shower gel and hand soap. There was a small table and two chairs. A plug-in electric heater was provided to boost the radiator (which was adjustable on the thermostat and always provided warmth when turned-up). There was coffee available in the main building next to reception each morning, and a 'spin to win' when I arrived which was a fun start to my stay! My stay was in the second building, separate from the main building where reception is based.
Cons: The outside of the hotel didn't feel particularly welcome and I can see why some people had commented on that in other reviews. Also, the large window in the room didn't form a tight seal with the frame (no matter how much I tried opening and re-closing the catch) - this created a cold draft under the curtain. From reviews I think others have had the same problem. However, the duvet was warm and the radiator and separate plug-in heater provided a work-around.

Great location, great staff, close to the train station and amenities. The rooms are cosy and have fridges, microwaves e
Pros: Stayed at this property twice now and the staff are so welcoming! They made my son feel so special for his birthday. Pepper the Cat is also one of our favourite things about this property, she takes her job patrolling the grounds very seriously and deserves all the treats :-)
