Wonderful

Pros: Lovely staff very helpful and right in the middle of the action

Pros: Staff were very kind, beds were comfortable and was very worth the price we paid

Pros: Location is really good and not too noisy (slept there during Halloween night so the streets were pumping). Room was quite spacious for 6 people. Toilet was small but very clean. Staff on the check in/checkout were extremely friendly and helpful. Kept offering complimentary hot beverages and muffins. Great plus if you have to kill time on your way in or out!

Cons: Check in is at a different building that's one block away and up some very steep stairs which is quite annoying because you go up with your luggage just to then have to come down and walk back to the other building and go upstairs again. The room was quite smelly when I checked in, like humidity, but I couldn't open the windows so there was no ventilation. No shampoo or body wash in the dispensers for shower. No privacy curtains, no towels.

Pros: Everything successfully over took my expectations! The experience was a good one , I can say one of a kind

Pros: This is a great budget hostel in the center of Amsterdam. The ratio of price, location and quality is just perfect. The 2 cons for me were the stairs, which was difficult for me to get up with a cane, as well as the fact that the reception was in another building. I have absolutely no problem with the first one, as I understand how houses in Amsterdam are arranged. These are architectural features. As for the second one, I'm glad I was warned about it in advance. Well, again, I assume that this is done because of the architecture features. The hostel is just wonderful. I especially liked the fact that when I already entered, it was dark, and people were not making any noise, but were asleep. Despite the fact that the hostel is located in the center. It was very quiet and peaceful. It's a wonderful place, and if I go to Amsterdam again, I'll probably move back here.
