Hostel Cosmos Amsterdam

Pros: The personal of the hotel were very kind. The rooms vs the cost was appropiate, al the guests share without problems in the place.

Pros: Its clean ,its almost centrum ,freandly staf , you have the tram stacion 150 m all supermakets around ,

Pros: Great location near tram stops and walking distance to the museums. They have a common room kitchenette which was not mentioned in the description but it is great to have access to a fridge and kettle, toaster etc. Bathrooms were clean (bring your own towels or can hire them at reception). There was a sink in the room so we could brush teeth without having to go to shared bathroom. The fan in the room helped keep the room comfortable besides opening the window.

Cons: No food or drinks in the rooms only in common room. No alcohol allowed on site and it is illegal to drink in public in Amsterdam.

Pros: The receptionist was very nice and told us everything we needed to know. The cleaning guy, on the other hand, barged in when half of the room was asleep and he didn't care about all the incredibly loud noise he made. He woke up everyone. The room was nice and clean and had everything we needed.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and always very helpful. Contrary to what most reviews claim about the overall cleaningness and hygene, i ve personally found the dorms, the reception and the toilets always cleaned.

Cons: There should be a bit more space in the room

A little and cozy stay, value for money

Pros: I liked a lot the little and very cozy kitchen. Tea, coffee is available. Fridge, water kettle, cooking plate are in place. Open 24 hours. Especially recommend the dormitory 4 bed with private toilet - it makes the difference. Location is perfect - 5 minutes by walk from the VG museum.

Cons: The rooms are quite small, but it's something one has to accept. Bunk beds are not anchored to the wall, so you feel the movements of your neighbor.

Good for short stays.

Pros: Personnel was very kind. Rooms were clean and tidy. Perfect location. Good for short trips.

Cons: There was a strong bad smell in the room. Uppder beds have no side bars, there is a danger to fall down. Rooms are very small.

Pros: Mitchell the Canadian dude working there is so cool. Had an amazing chat with him. Very welcoming. I'd definitely come back. It's in Amsterdam Zuid and has all the amenities pretty close.

Cons: Very early C/O

Pros: Everything is very clean in this hostel! And also the ladies that handle the hostel are very polite and nice!

Close and easy transport to central

Pros: Easy to go from the airport you take bus 397 with contactless card about 3/4 euro , 20mins ride, then an easy 5mins walk . Reception /common room/kitchen isn't 24hrs but you can make toast, has microwave, tea and get tap water during the day which is enough supply for the trip. Some shower supplies from previous guests which hugely helped as i forgot shampoo.... Recommend check in first so you get a card to access the door late if youre going out until late

Cons: At night reception is closed, couldnt get water or food late as kitchen is in same area，but it not a big issue. Just needed to be aware. Social table is there, can fit 4-6ppl eating together but is not big enough for music or speaker to socialise, more of just an eating table than social area, but is good. :)
