Beautiful Guest House in a Beautiful City - Just be Aware of the Stairs...

Pros: The owners/hosts were most hospitable, accessible, friendly and accommodating (this is a guest house so you will encounter them at some point). Check in was facilitated by the host, but if he wasn't there, self check-in would be easy to do. The house was beautiful with immaculate grounds. The place was easy to find and was less than 10 minutes by car to Hoorn Centrum and the train stations.

Cons: Two unexpected things unfortunately detracted from our stay. Please be aware that the bath is on the ground floor and the bedroom is on the second floor; accessible by only a very narrow set of twisting stairs. This place may not be your best choice if you have heavy luggage, have trouble navigating stairs or must use the bathroom in the middle of the night. Also, if you're a light sleeper, it's possible you'll be awakened by the hourly ringing of the neighboring church's bells.

Pros: Die beiden Gastgeber waren sehr zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und aufgeschlossen. Die Wohnung war gut ausgestattet. Sie lag in einer sehr guten Wohngegend mit Einfamilienhäusern. Wir werden die Ferienwohnung weiter empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.
