Perfect location in central Alkmaar

Pros: Very convenient position, close to town centre. Very clean and secure. Quiet and private. Grace the host was very welcoming and helpful. Great communication regarding our stay.

Cons: The bathroom and kitchen on the ground floor with a very steep winding staircase up to the bedroom which could be a problem for those with limited mobility

Perfect stay!

Pros: Lovely apartment, in a central location but so quiet and peaceful. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We also appreciated the under floor heating downstairs in the morning! Grace was an excellent host and gave us lots of information on the area. Would definitely stay here again.

Ideal place for a short stay in Alkmaar

Pros: As the title says, this is a 'unique' residence, very close to the lovely medieval centre of Alkmaar but also quiet. Grace and Vincent are welcoming and friendly, and the house is supplied with everything that you would need for a short stay. The train station is only a 15-minute walk away.

Charmantes altes Stadthaus mit komfortabler Ausstattung

Pros: Wir waren über Silvester 3 Nächte in diesem großartigen Appartement und haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt. Es liegt in einem alten typisch niederländischen Häuschen (sagte Vincent, die Gebäude sind seid 1880 im Familienbesitz?). Alle Wände, Fenster und Türen sind krumm und schief und haben einen einmaligen Charme, aber von innen ist die Wohnung ganz modern und neu renoviert und es war gemütlich und schön warm. Die Küche ist top ausgestattet, das Badezimmer komfortabel mit vielen Haken und Ablagemöglichkeiten, alles total sauber. Dann die perfekte Lage mitten in der wunderschönen Altstadt von Alkmaar - wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Cons: Über die steile Treppe hoch ins Schlafzimmer wurde schon öfter geschrieben - das muss man vorher wissen. Für uns war es kein Problem. Das Bett war groß und sehr bequem, für uns war die riesige durchgehende Bettdecke für 2 Personen allerdings unheimlich schwer (aber warm! 😊), aber das ist ja Geschmackssache und kein Grund für uns, nicht wiederzukommen. Die Sauna haben wir nicht genutzt, sie liegt außerhalb im Hof und ist schon recht klein, aber bestimmt nett warm.

Pros: L’emplacement est parfait. Situé dans l’hyper centre et à la fois dans une petite ruelle très calme. L’hôte est très accueillant, disponible et très sympathique. Bouteille de vin offerte à notre arrivé et un petit book avec plusieurs adresses de bar et restaurants

Pros: Super nette Begrüßung, top Unterkunft in super Lage.Sehr sauber und bequeme Betten. Alles vorhanden was man braucht. Kommen gerne wieder.

Pros: Nou eigenlijk alles. Hele leuke ontvangst door Vincent en Grace. Prachtige, schone, gezellige B&B met een prachtige binnentuin. Heel mooi oud straatje met veel groen en om de hoek het centrum. Een echte aanrader.
