Pros: Very nice place and location and the Host is marvellous Great German neighbours really quiet.

Cons: Hot

Pros: Great location - near the train station and city centre, ten minutes walk to supermarket. The house is clean and quiet and has everything you need. Ideal for solo travelers. Host is very nice.

Pros: Best location. All public transport nearby. Quiet area. The room was perfect for the week we stayed there. Definitely coming back.

A comfy room near the station

Pros: Lovely room and close to the train station. Really comfy bed and duvets. A sink in the room and kitchen facilities. Had a nice garden view. Pleasant host. Not too long walk from Alkmaar centrum. Would stay here again and it's value for the money.

Cons: No sink in the toilet and only cold water from the faucet in the room.

Pros: Wonderful stay in Alkmaar. Perfect location with everything you need. The bed was phenomenal and sleeping conditions were excellent. Theo is a great host and we felt private during our stay. Would stay here again without hesitation. Thank you!

Goede locatie, mooi huis, aparte details en een goed geoutilleerde keuken.

Pros: Zeer goede locatie, tegenover het station. En op 10 min. lopen van het centrum. De woning is mooi gerenoveerd met hier en daar bijzondere details. Een rustig huis waar je zelf ook rustig je gang kunt gaan.

Cons: De kraan in het bad zou je met een knop/hendel die je uittrekt, op douche moeten zetten. De hendel ontbrak en je zou het restant uit kunnen trekken. Maar ik kreeg het niet voor elkaar.

Gemütlicher Ort <3

Pros: Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war auch sehr gut, man hat uns sogar einen Spartipp bezüglich der Parksituation gegeben, da das Parken direkt vor der Unterkunft sehr teuer ist (ca. 24€ für 24h). Der Bahnhof ist direkt gegenüber was ideal dafür ist um das Auto mal stehen zu lassen und wie wir z. B. nach Amsterdam zu fahren. Super Anbindungen und durch eine App (9292) findet man sich super mit den Öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zurecht (ebenfalls ein von Tipp vom Gastgeber). Das Bett war bequem, die Küche ist ausreichend und es sind ein paar Gewürze vorhanden. Wir kommen gerne wieder da diese Unterkunft sehr gemütlich und Verbindungsnah ist und Alkmaar eine super schöne Stadt ist :)

Cons: Ein bisschen Punktabzug gibt es dafür, dass die Wände etwas hellhörig sind. Andere Bewohner hatten eine Musikbox an und man hat es etwas gehört, vielleicht kam es auch vom Nachbargebäude es hat uns aber wenig bis kaum gestört und wir konnten sehr gut schlafen. Ein bisschen umständlich ist die Badsituation, da es kein Waschbecken hat. Dieses befindet sich allerdings im Zimmer selbst. Und da es ein Gemeinschaftsbad ist muss man damit rechnen, dass das Bad auch mal blockiert sein kann. Das hat bei uns aber ebenfalls gut geklappt und niemand kam sich ins Gehege :)
