Zocher6 a monumental town house in the city center

Pros: The location was second to none, close to all the engagements we had planned and booked. The room was very quiet, clean and a very comfortable bed.

Cons: The room was very cold, difficult to keep warm, especially the wall behind the bed, it felt icy and maybe a headboard would mitigate this. The shower room /toilet was also freezing which was not comfortable.

A perfect place to work and to relax - in walking distance to many restaurants

Pros: The welcome and even the contacts before my arrival were just perfect. Henk is an attentive host: His hints and tipps for restaurants and shopping were more than helpful. The studio is practically furnished and elegantly furnished. So there was plenty of space for my study work and eating together with my sister who visited me. Last but not least the Illy coffee machine produces wonderful tasting strong coffee .... and I never experienced a shortage of capsules - thank Henk :-) The tranquillity of Ambachtstraat is heavenly! I shall return when I'll be back to Utrecht University.

Cons: The only thing that could be improved is the storage space in the two large wardrobes (there really are enough clothes hangers but no free shelfs - all were occupied by microwave, tableware ...). Not a big thing. Fortunately there are many big lounge furniture ...

Absolutely recommend this for a stay in Utrecht.

Pros: The property was in a great location. Very quiet and relaxing. The host was extremely attentive and helpful and gave us useful information about eating places

Pros: Henk was a brilliant host, he made us tea on arrival and gave us lots of advice of what to do in Utrecht. The location was perfect, really close to the main centre. The room was nice and had a kettle and coffee machine, cutlery and crockery. The room had a private shower with a very unique design and double doors onto a patio.

Cons: There was very little to not like about this place! Henk made it so great. But just two very small things to highlight would be that the toilet is shared with one other room and is very tiny. Very clean and not far from the room though. And the nearby clock tower rings a lot and all through the night. If you close all of the windows in the room though you can hardly hear them. We didn’t realise the windows were open the first night though so they were quite loud.

Pros: The house is magnificent, well maintained and very clean. The street is very quiet and yet in the city center.

Cons: A shortcoming was the toilet out of the room. But not such a big one to stop me from coming again

Cons: Would have preferred an en suite toilet but understand that this would have compromised the layout of the room.

Au cœur d'Utrecht mais bien au calme

Pros: L'accueil de Henk, un hôte parfait: chaleureux et serviable, sans s'imposer. L'emplacement est également super, à deux pas de la cathédrale, dont on entend la cloche sonner l'heure (pas trop fort...). L'appartement est en plus très calme, et proche de commerces et des transports publics.

Cons: Rien de spécial.
