Pros: Beautiful position on side of lake, nicely presented. Good location for visiting many gorgeous villages. Dined at the hotel for 2 nights, the food was excellent & catered specifically to us. Excellent service & lovely attentive staff. We would love to visit again & would thoroughly recommend.

Cons: Steep stairs up to our room, but we knew about them & soon got used to them . Found the wine expensive by the glass & would rather have bought a bottle.

Marvelous one night stay in a picteresque and charming place.

Pros: The hotel is located in a fantastic historic building preserved in perfect condition. It is run by a great, very friendly family. I love the idea of self service bar and incredible breakfast served at the veranda with a lake view.

Pros: An outstanding place to stay with a fabulous historic house overlooking a beautiful lake canal in a wonderful quiet town near Amsterdam. Hosts Pamela and Garrol (sorry for wrong spelling) were so welcoming and lovely and the breakfast and dinner were superb. The stay here was a fabulous treat for us at the start of a European journey. Thank you for a memorable stay!

Pros: Such a lovely old house carefully renovated and beautifully decorated in the cutest village just 20 mins bus ride outside Amsterdam! Delicious breakfast served to the table on the porch facing the lake. Also would recommend eating dinner here, it was excellent!
