Appartement Voorhuis en chalet Klein Waterland

Our favourite place.

Pros: House was well equipped, warm, cosy, clean and comfortable, was in a great location and beautiful views. We had fresh eggs on arrival :) It was around 20 mins from central but there is places/shops all around. Checking in was quick, friendly. There is a little milk hut where you can get fresh milk and eggs. We loved our stay and can not wait to return.

Cons: Nothing. Only thing I would suggest would be a full length mirror to be able to see outfits.

Lovely location, cosy home would definetly go again

Pros: Loved the style of the house, very cosy and the scenery around it was so beautiful

Cons: It was over a 15 minute walk to the bus stop and with the bad weather during our stay made things abit more difficult and it’s abit far out of the city but we knew that when booking

Quaint cottage just outside Amsterdam city circle

Pros: Location just outside the Amsterdam city circle...felt like a quaint country cottage but still close enough to get public transport into Amstersam city centre. Also loved that we had our own cottage/ house to ourselves.

Can't wait to come back!

Quiet and nice place at the outskirts of Amsterdam

Warm, cosy stay, wonderful host.

Pros: Location was fabulous, in a dainty picturesque village.

Cons: A bit far from the downtown, getting cabs from the property takes time and patience, and no restaurants near by

Pros: Very comfortable stay and amazing hosts, thank you.

It was an original experience, a very interesting way of taking contact with Netherland.

Pros: The hospitality of the hosts. Also, the location was very pitoresque and authentic.

Cons: The mosquitos were quite annoing, until we found a very good antidote: mosquitos repelling coils, form the closest supermarket (the one close to the bus 37 stop, that takes you to Station Noord Metro) and mosquito repelling lotion, both with citronelle scent, which prooved to be very efficient (from any pharmacy).

Pros: It's a very beautiful house, clean, peaceful environment, a true suburb. The staff is very friendly and responsive. The connection to the city center via public transport is excellent. Find the nearest bus stop with line 37 to the subway, and from there, take the metro to the center. Ask the staff for more details. I highly recommend it.
