Pros: Great location. Very good connection to the center of Amsterdam. Peaceful, beautiful view, quiet, clean. Highly recommended. Next time we will stay there again without hesitation.

Cute stay in a quiet neighbourhood

Pros: The room was very cosy with a great outlook over to the park, church, and canal. Really nice and convenient amenities meant we could make some sandwiches or snacks for our days touring. Location is a little further out from the city centre but you get the peacefulness. Still easy to get into the center in about 30mins. The host was always contactable and helpful with check in details

Pros: Really cosy little place. Beautiful area not to hard to get to, pretty near Noord station but a real sanctuary from the bustle of the city. Apartment was cosy with all amenities and even had a TV we could connect to Netflix and youtube.

A quiet haven

Pros: Loved the quiet location with wonderful views from the deck over the small canal. Great location in which to relax after a days sightseeing. The public transportation was excellent so no problems accessing the main parts of Amsterdam. Lovely hostess and her son who were most helpful.

Cons: The spiral staircase was a little challenging for me but I managed it. Initially I thought I would have problems accessing the key but those concerns proved ill founded.

Cozy stay with great view, lovely host

Pros: The B&B is very cozy and has a nice interior/an overall great vibe. Berendien is very friendly and welcoming as well. She has great recommendations for food spots or also the public transport possibilities. The view is gorgeous, and you reach the city relatively quick (about 8min walk to the bus stations, then switch to Metro to get to centraal - takes about 30min total). Furthermore, the B&B has everything you need (hairdryer, towels, shampoo, lotion, dishes, watercooker, coffee machine, etc.

Cons: The bed mattress is a bit hard for my taste. And with big luggage, the stairs up to the B&B are a challenge as they're very narrow but manageable. Just wanted to point that out for anyone it might concern but not really a dislike.

Pros: Loved this little gem of a place. The view was lovely, and it was nice to be slightly out of the centre of Amsterdam. The room was very comfortable, and the balcony was spacious. Berendien was a great host.

Cons: There is a curtain as a bathroom door, I didn't especially mind it, but my partner wasn't too keen.

Everything you need and a beautiful setting

Pros: This place had everything we needed! We loved having a balcony and being on a private floor. It’s not a far walk to the metro towards Amsterdam Central. Berendien was so helpful, friendly and kind! We loved the local neighbourhood as well. Thank you for the stay, we would definitely come back :)

Charming, comfortable and great value for money!

Pros: This place is a great deal for anyone looking to save some money on accommodation as central Amsterdam is very expensive! Located only one stop on the tube from Central Station, plus 3 stops with bus. The public transportation is reliable and frequent, making it easy to get around. Staying here gives you the chance to explore a different part of Amsterdam as well. The flat itself is adorable, with a terrace overlooking a canal - perfect for relaxing in the summer. It had everything we needed, like a fridge, microwave, kettle, and dishes. The place was clean and cozy, and the host was super friendly. And we even had a little furry visitor during our stay - a cute cat! Overall, a great stay for anyone on a budget. 😊

Cons: The spiral staircase leading up to the flat can be a challenge for someone with mobility restrictions. But if you are fit and able no problems at all, just take a bit extra care. Also, steep and spiral staircases isn't unusual in Amsterdam in general.

Pros: I loved the location as it was only 30mins bus ride from the city and it was so beautiful there at the B&B next to the canal. I also loved the B&B it was so cute and cosy and I loved the book shelf and it just had everything I needed. It was so clean and very comfortable and the host Berendien was absolutely amazing and friendly but also gave us privacy while making sure we had everything. I would love to come back and stay there again for sure it was absolutely perfect. Great value for money too, overall I was very happy staying in this B&B by the canal and I felt safe there too as a young single woman of 20yrs old and my best friend that is paramount to us aswell so thankyou to Berendien for her lovely hospitality xx

Cons: There wasn't anything I didn't like only that the spiral staircase you would have to be careful going up and down it but I did love this feature as it was our own private entrance in and out of our room.
