Amster Houseboat

Pros: Great boat house, nice location, not far from local restaurants and the ferry. Good bed, had a great sleep.

A peaceful stay, warm hospitality, and a sunset I’ll never forget.

Pros: Staying on this houseboat was such a unique and unforgettable experience. The hostess was incredibly polite, kind, and attentive. She answered all our questions with patience and a warm attitude, and genuinely tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible. And the sunset over the river? Absolutely breathtaking. A perfect blend of peace, beauty, and something truly special , highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable getaway.

Pros: Everything was good, clean, cozy, all amenities, we cooked dinner and had dinner on the terrace!!!

Floating home

Pros: Very enjoyable two days on the houseboat. Ferry to Amsterdam was 15 minute walk away, also nice bars and Restaurants at the Quay side.

Cons: Couldn't turn the light off outside window

Unique and fun Amsterdam Noord accommodation

Pros: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay Very unique accommodation with a great view We enjoyed the ducks and swans visiting We found it easy to get into the city with a quick 10min walk to the free ferry into the city that comes very frequently Could swim and paddle board from the front door if the weather was suitable

Cons: Not a complaint, but it won't suit everybody. The property is quirky, our room had the shower in the bedroom and no room for bedside tables. That suited us fine but it's not like a Novetel, and if that's what you're after you should probably look elsewhere

Pros: Nice quiet area, comfortable little houseboat, and nice to be able to sit outside on the river.

Pros: Lovely relaxing spot, bed was great. Local buses / ferry making it easy to get into Amsterdam central.

Cons: Nothing - all great

Pros: We had chosen this property as it was close enough to the city centre but peaceful for us and perfect for our two dogs with the garden and surrounding field/park. Loved the big kingsize bed and rustic maritime style throughout. Amazing view onto the river and easy access to all facilities. It were little extras throughout the unit eg shampoo and conditioner, tea bags etc.

Cons: Maybe a handrail down the steep entrance stairs for elderly people like us lol

Pros: Really cool accommodation on the water, dog friendly, very nice hosts, and good facilities.

Cons: No TV signal.

Pros: Fantastic river view and feel. Lovely host. Great garden and hangout space.

Cons: Not a dislike, but it is small - just a bedroom, toilet and small kitchen. There's nowhere to sit, except the bed. So in effect it's like a hotel room - an excellent hotel room:)
