Pros: A new way to enjoy Amsterdam! The boat is very comfortable, very well equipped, with all amenities and on an excellent location close to the central station and city center. My host, Friedrich, is very kind and welcoming, and gave me great tips.

A wonderful experience to stay on a houseboat in Amsterdam

Pros: It was a cosy houseboat that was centrally located in Amsterdam. It is close to Amsterdam Centraal train station and Jordaan district. The host, Friedrich, was delightful and was at the door to greet us when we arrived.

Great location, enjoy staying aboard a canal boat in the heart of Amsterdam

Pros: The houseboat was everything the photos and description made it out to be, in fact we were pleasantly surprised with the comfort and the facilities of our room. The location is really good, close to everything and easy walk to the main station and into the center of town, and as we were already on one of the canals we didn't have to go far to see the full beauty of Amsterdam. The room is quiet, the shower and toilet adequate, there is coffee and tea in the room if you like and we got a very peaceful night's sleep. The host is a lovely man, very welcoming and very helpful.

Cons: Nothing, everything was just fine.

Cons: Aircon was great but would have loved a fan too to keep the air moving ( very hot weather when we were there). Fridge too small for a bottle of wine 😃

Excellent value for money and unique experience

Pros: Located in a quiet canal very close to the station and next to a cool bar/restaurant.

Friedrich was soo welcoming and close by if we needed anything. This was a perfect little getaway.

Pros: Due to this being my first time abroad, I didn’t know what to expect. But this house boat was amazing, only small but everything we needed.

Cons: The only issue I had was the stairs down into the house boat due to my sight, this wouldn’t be a problem for anyone else.

Pros: The houseboat was such a great place to stay in Amsterdam! Friedrich was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had about the city! It was a good location to the city too. Always lovely and warm in there and we were able to control the temperature as we liked.

Cons: The bed was very comfortable but the pillows weren’t great!
