Comfortable and excellent value

Pros: Location is fantastic, close to train station and easy walking distance from much of the city. Area is quiet but still has plenty of restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. Babette is the most helpful and generous host, making us feel comfortable and welcome the entire time. The appartment is excellent value for Amsterdam. Access to a fridge and basic plates/cutlery, along with a coffee machine and pods (supplied) allowed us to prepare breakfasts and lunches during our stay.

Pros: The apartment is in an excellent location, the center itself can be reached by easy walking along the canal, it is clean and tidy. Babette is a wonderful lady who was at our service all the time and we felt like we belonged there, we have never encountered such hospitality before.

Great place to stay

Pros: Location was excellent and it was nice and warm. Bed was comfortable and good to have some books on Amsterdam available. The welcome waffle was wonderful.

Cons: Was a little noisy with footsteps above and one night about 2.30 in the morning someone came in walking around quite a bit which woke us both up and there was a dog barking periodically. Annoying but not a real problem.
