Pros: Great location , central but quiet close to a great street with lots of good restaurants bakeries and coffee spots. The room is beautifully and comfortably designed, and a lot of thought was given to the little details. Thijs and Rossane are super nice and helpful , gave us great recommendations and were responsive to our every need. We had great time and will be back.

Cons: The only downside that is manageable is the suite being in on the 5th floor .

Central location supported by a friendly family.

Pros: Location was perfect as it was mid way between work and the tourists sights. It’s situated in a quiet spot within the canal district UCL but 20 minutes from most tourist attractions.

Cons: Nothing really. The road building is being modified so they had builder working but the disruption was nearly noticeable.

Pros: Such a lovely room. Location was brilliant. Yes you do have to climb the stairs but you cant go anywhere in Europe without finding a stair and the room is lovely. Our host carried the bags up the stairs. It really is a great place to stay

Pros: Lovely host and a well kept space with everything we needed for a 4 night stay. Check in was a breeze and Rosanne gave us the full run down on what to do and see which was very helpful. Close walks to various districts and points of interest as well as a supermarket on the street behind. Amsterdams food scene was quite diverse and a fantastic discovery.

Cons: The stairs would be the only point I should make. Would be a challenge for elderly. Pack light as the last flight is a doozy! There is currently roadworks along the entire road frontage canal side (SEP 2025) to if lugging suitcases come in from the street behind to be end. The rubber footpath mats over the upturned pavement and sand are difficult to wheel in luggage. Other than this the room was very comfortable and light filled in the morning. Great neighbourhood.

Perfect accommodation in every way.

Pros: Beautiful room. Everything you need. Host met us on arrival and gave us lots of tips re eating venues, sightseeing recommendations. Made us feel so welcome. Lots of extra treats in the room - thank you. Excellent location. Everything in reach. Would definitely stay here again without hesitation. Bed was so comfortable and bathroom underfloor heating was a real bonus! Perfect in every way.

Pros: The location of this stay was the absolute highlight. It felt like we were in the quiet of the suburbs but close to everything! The host was so helpful in carrying our (very heavy) luggage up the stairs and made it look easy!

Cons: Only very minor thing is the sink took a while to drain.

Had a great time in AD and the location was fab. Great recommendation with the food and coffee would come back

Highly recommended

Pros: Location was perfect, very close to everything we wanted to see. The building itself was very beautiful and clean. Room was very clean, there were snacks, coffee and wine available. Rosanne was very helpful and had very good suggestions for bars, restaurants etc. The stairs were not so bad unless you have a knee problem. Rosanne kept our bags after check out without any extra charge.

Cons: There were not enough hangers inside the bathroom for the towels
