Bed of Roses

Pros: A long mother-daughters weekend trip. We loved it here! Easy to reach from the airport and/or train station (buses, trams). Walking distance to town, shops and restaurants near-by. The owners were very nice and helpful. The flat was spotless clean, the beds excellent, and everything one might need was available. A big bonus: the flat is in an inner yard and it is QUIET. We slept like babies!

Excellent in every aspect

Pros: Spacious, comfortable, excellent location. Hosts were very friendly, we met in person and explained everything, provided tips. Overall a very good experience and a nice, cozy vibe.

A real gem in a great location, a great base for exploring on foot.

Pros: Bed of Roses worked really well for us as a family with young adult kids. It was a great location, quiet but easy to walk to everywhere we wanted to: bars, restaurants, shops, museums, canals, the station and exploring generally. It was lovely having a whole spacious apartment and handy that the toilet was separate from the shower room given four of us were sharing. It was great having a well stocked kitchen and dining table and the coffee machine was a real bonus! The lounge area was lovely and cosy too. We loved having a home-from-home for a few days. A real gem! In terms of layout, one bedroom was downstairs as was the kitchen/diner, shower room and toilet while the second room was upstairs as was the lounge which was open like a mezzanine. Unfortunately, it won't let me upload more photos of the property.

Cons: We stayed in December when it was cold. The lounge was nice and warm but the other rooms were a bit on the cold side. Also, the stairs were typically Dutch and steep which might not suit everyone but wasn't an issue for us.

Pros: The apartment was roomy, clean and in a wonderful location. Communication from Wilma was clear and timely and she provided us with excellent recommendations on things to do whilst in Amsterdam. An added bonus was that we had visits from their gorgeous little cat which helped some home sick kids miss their pets a little less!

Fab host, fab location, fab accommodation.

Pros: Fab location, walkable to all main points of interest / attractions, friendly and accommodating host, lovely accommodation, all necessary amenities included, clean and tidy.

A beautiful stay

Pros: It was quite yet well connected to all happening areas. Easy access to public transportation. The hosts were very helpful . Came home with fond memories

Cons: The winding stairs , could do with another shower n toilet

Lovely location for a break in Amsterdam

Pros: The apartment was in a great location, residential but within an easy walk to the busy areas of Amsterdam. And I loved having an outside garden space :)

Cons: Upon our initial arrival, the apartment had a ‘basement’ feel. Once we got used to this, it was a great place and we enjoyed our stay.

Amazing stay in ideal location

Pros: The property was spacious and had a beautiful garden. The check-in and out very easy and Annemarie was very helpful and accomodating. The location is excellent and we would highly recommend.

Great 😊

Pros: Location was good, nice spacious apartment. Hosts are lovely. Netflix account to watch on the tv as well as internet was also great 😊

Cons: Would have loved a washing machine and an oven, but other than that the apartment was great.

Pros: The property is beautiful and Rene was very helpful and friendly , going out of his way to make our stay an amazing one. The beds are very comfortable and the garden is a lovely addition , highly recommend .
