Pros: We wanted somewhere comfortable and relaxing for us and our daughter to stay during our 3-day stopover in Amsterdam. This place was the perfect choice! The location and neighborhood were great. The accommodation and facilities were great. The host (Marion) was great. Despite the typical Amsterdam steep stairs up to the apartment, it was well worth it if you are looking for a safe, quiet, clean place to stay in Amsterdam. Highly recommended!

Cons: Having to leave!!! Everything else was as close to perfect as could possibly be. We cannot fault anything. Even the stairs (which we thought would be a problem) weren't once we worked out how to best get suitcases up. And Marion showed us a great technique for getting them down when we departed.

Extremely clean and excellent location

Pros: Extremely tidy apartment with very comfortable large beds and each room has its own bathroom. Perfect alternative to a hotel where you can wake up and have a coffee and light breakfast. Location is perfect with everything nearby with the tram and bus just steps away. We took the 397 bus from the airport which was very easy. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby with 9 streets just a 10 minute walk. Marion was very helpful explaining how to get the tram. Only downside is the 4 flights of stairs to the apartment. Fine if you are fit but my 80-year-old mother with knee problems did struggle a bit but she did manage a 3 night stay in the end.

Pros: This is a great apartment. Marion was a fabulous host, with great dinner and sightseeing recommendations. The apartment was lovely, bright and clean and in a great location.

WONDEFUL in so many ways.

Pros: LOVED it here. The place is way bigger than you see on the pictures. It is clean, modern, comfortable. Marion is amazing, hospitable and so easy to deal with. We had a fantastic stay. Location is wonderful. Tons of great restaurants and things nearby. Yes, a lot of narrow steps but that did not bother us at all.

Pros: Loved it all! Marion was a wonderful host. A great breakfast was delivered every morning. Apartment was really clean, a lot of light, and a lot of attention to detail. The beds were the most comfortable ones we slept in during our whole holiday. Was also very comfortable staying as a group, with each bedroom having its own bathroom. Location was great - easy to walk to a lot of the main sights, and also close to different tram lines so was also easy to get to other parts of the city on public transport from here. As others have mentioned, the apartment is on the fourth floor so there is quite a few stairs (no different to anywhere else we have stayed in Amsterdam before though). This was not a bother for us, but is something to be mindful of if travelling with a lot of luggage or have mobility issues.

Great place & would definitely recommend.

Pros: Great location for walking to most sights but the transport & buses were nearby too. Lovely & clean with beds made & bathrooms cleaned daily.

Cons: Wasnt anything to dislike. Warning re number of stairs to climb but worth it.

An exceptional apartment and an ideal base from which to explore Amsterdam.

Pros: Excellent breakfast, with fresh fruit, juice and bread. Exceptionally clean apartment. A welcoming and very helpful hostess.
