The accommodation was as much a part of our holiday as the city around us.

Pros: It was so unique and it was all ours! So often you stay in a soul-less hotel with no view. This bridge house had literally 360 degree views with NEMO, the naval museum (stunning building- especially when lit up at night!), boats - and huge ships!- going right past our windows and along the canal, which was another view right under our noses. It felt like we were in a lighthouse. The room was round and so was the bed and I swear we are now planning to get one- it was so cosy and the bedding was the softest, comfiest ever. We actually spent our last day just in bed and it didn’t feel like a waste because we could see everything going on all around us. We loved it. Absolutely loved it.

Cons: It could have done with at least a microwave or a toaster: there was no option to prepare anything to eat there other than cold food. There was a decent sized fridge though, and a kettle, though. If you’re sensitive to noise, be aware that you’re on a busy road (just out of the centre so car traffic, not people). I liked feeling everything going on around us but they provided ear plugs if that’s something you’d struggle with. I cannot fault it other than those two non-issues.

Pros: Very unique unusual place to stay, Highly recommend Stunning 360 windows giving you amazing views, in all directions. Large clean space, Felt very private and safe. Great place for couples to enjoy a romantic weekend.

This is an exceptional stay! With 360 degree views across the canals, it offers a unique view of Amsterdam.

Pros: This is one of the most fun properties I’ve stayed in! It gives the most amazing views of some of the canals of Amsterdam and is just so unique.

Cons: It’s a bit further out of the city centre than anticipated… also would warn some people about lugging heavy bags up and down the stairs.

Wonderful accomodation

Pros: I loved the location and style of the property. Especially the view was phenomenal. Good service and no complaints. There was only a wrongly addressed letter on the desk, which probably means that my addressed letter was in another location too.

Pros: A fantastic place, thoughtfully designed and prepared with heart! The location is beyond praise! I recommend it and will visit again!

A romantic night with a lovely view

Pros: Beautiful location, clean suite, super romantic. They provided Cava and decoration at my request. Easy access. A unique experience. There's handwritten note and a discount to meritime museum. Owner puts a nice personal touch to welcoming guests. I highly recommend!

Cons: A bit cold in the room or I couldn't figure out the heating perhaps. There was a homeless person sleeping nearby the suite.

Great adventure in Amsterdam

Pros: A very original concept and great views from the room. It is several meters above the ground level, so street noise is not a big problem.

Cons: Facilities are a bit worn out, shades require renovation or replacement, but overall the location and views make up for disadvantages.

Pros: Wonderful place for a couple for a short visit to Amsterdam: located in the city center, lovely view of Nemo, full of nice design fornitures, easy to reach by public transport, clean, warm.
