Loved the quirkiness, history, concept and location - would stay again

Pros: Location - easy to walk to station, canals, main attractions etc. Great cafes, bakery and restaurants and pubs near by. Close to a bus stop, not too far to the Mr Visserplein tram stop Quirkiness Price Space and the seating area was good Shower was good (hot water, good pressure) The books Good amount of stuff in the property: mini fridge, kettle, crockery, cutlery, tea cloths and washing up stuff

Cons: A bit cleaner under the bed (was some older rubbish there - we fished out what we could reach and put it in the bin) Heating/air con wasn't easy to operate/work out.... Shower/wash room could do with the grout being breach scrubbed, or being re-grouted Curtains could do with a wash Top windows could do with being cleaned Maybe a few more hooks to hang up coats, towels, washbags and so on

We really enjoyed our time at the apartment.

Pros: Excellent apartment. Excellent location. We would definitely return.

Cons: It was perfect at its price point. The host had provided everything we would need.

Lots of character and history

Pros: The location was great We liked to be near the canal It had a lot of character The bed was super comfortable

Cons: The shower wasn’t good at all.

Lovely stay..Our own little hide away. The bed was super cosy and we will definitely be staying at one of the other gate

Pros: What really stole our hearts were all the quirky details, those gorgeous window shutters, the character-packed windows, and the fabulous tiles. We’ve always loved the way the space flows inside, with the cosy window seat and that fun little sleeping nook. And who could forget the novelty of brushing your teeth while having a shower? It’s got bags of personality, and that’s what made it so special to us

Cons: It would have been great if the record player worked! Plenty of vinyls to play. We only had Dried milk for brews, no fridge. Would have been super to have complimentary milk on arrival. Took a while to enter the property due to the app not working.

Great location and comfy bed

Pros: Our room was quite compact, but plenty of room for us and our bags. There was loads of light, and the bed was really comfortable. We received a complimentary red wine in our room, which got our visit off to a good start. The shower was great. The decor of the hotel is really quirky and fabulous, and there's a lovely big living room area with comfy seating where you can relax. It's a very central location. You can walk to all the nearby restaurants and bars. There is a cheap parking lot around the corner where you can leave your car overnight.

Amazing location. Perfect bed.

Pros: Surprisingly comfortable and complete for such a small space.

Cons: Super comfi bed. Very quiet at night

An interesting and exciting place to stay.

Pros: Entry was via the FLEXIPASS app which worked well. Fantastic bakery 1 minute walk away - thanks for telling us about it. The spirit level to check the slope on the floor!

Cons: It was unavoidably a bit noisy being at street level.

Cozy and quaint house in really good location

Pros: The location was very good, central and easy to get around the city on foot!

Cons: The bathroom had a funny smell

A great property for exploring. Would recommend!

Pros: The location was walking distance from the train station and centre of the city. It was an isolated self contained building which was great for privacy. There is an outdoor seating are that overlooks the canal and the property was great for a couple exploring Amsterdam.

Cons: Although the property was limited in size it compared to a hotel room but there isn’t really anything we didn’t like.

Pros: A beautiful piece of history, conveniently located to explore the city. I really enjoyed my stay, wish I had more time to spend there! I highly recommend it! Thank you Simona 😊
