Total relaxation!
Pros: Out of the hustle of Amsterdam but still so close to everything. Easy walk into Dam Square and all the surrounding attractions. Very close to public transport. The view from the sliding door which opened out onto the canal. Kitchen had all the gadgets. We made eggs on toast most mornings and heated dinner from Albert Heign most nights! Coffee machine was great and having the small dishwasher lovely! Bed was comfy and we actually slept until 8am most mornings which is late for us! Piano player in the boat next door. The clock chiming in the distance. Too many things to write!
Cons: The shower didn’t drain quickly enough so we just used the bath which was fine.

Comfortable and relaxing.
Pros: A beautiful location on a canal. Only two stops from Central Station. (Tram 26 is in Central Station. Go through the shopping mall and turn right. The tram is right at the end) Snacks and drinks were in the fridge for our use. There are also shampoo and gels left in the bath room if needed. Plenty of towels. Hosts are lovely. This is a really pleasant place to stay out of the busyness of central Amsterdam. The bed is high but my other half had great fun helping me into it. Mattress is so comfortable we both had uninterrupted sleep every night. Living area has all that you need. We hope to come back and stay here again. You can see that a lot of thought has gone into this boat house as they have written a lot down to help make your stay as pleasant as possible. Thank you Milo
Cons: Nothing. We were both very happy.

Good value for Amsterdam, pretty and peaceful surroundings, but a bit tight.
Pros: The location is quite good as it is only a 20 minutes walk from the train station. It is also very peaceful and pretty by the water surrounded with greenery. There is a bit of noise from passing trains but nothing serious when the windows and doors are closed at night. We had no trouble sleeping because of it. There was plenty of yoghurt, juice, soft drinks, and some other things in the fridge for breakfast, which was very nice. There even was a bottle of Prosecco! The place was very clean and since it operates with a door code, check in and check out could not have been easier. The mattress downstairs is large and comfy and the sleep sofa upstairs was okay.
Cons: There are steep narrow stairs going downstairs to the bathroom and it is no fun at all navigating them with suitcases. The place was very tight for 3 people, especially downstairs. On the first night, the water temperature could not be regulated and the water was way too hot for comfort in the shower, making it hard to wash. On the second evening we did not encounter this problem for some reason. Given the size of the place, one wonders why there is a large bathtub and small shower and sink instead of no bath tub and decent size shower and sink with perhaps a second toiled. It does not seem to be a good use of space.

Pros: We loved our stay! Lovely, quiet, pedestrian street, unique experience, and 10-15 minute canal walk to central station. Hosts very accommodating, letting us check in early after a trans-Atlantic flight. Lots of breakfast fixings and beverages provided!

Loved the Houseboat, it was great for our short stay
Pros: Being on a houseboat was something different, made a nice change from motels. Easy walking to the Cruise terminal and the wharfs. Restaurants and Bars close by
Cons: No air-conditioning. Downstairs bedroom had a fan, maybe a second fan for upstairs would be good

Pros: easy to check in and check out, location is good, just take the tram to central easily, you can have good sleep, it is quite. There are lots of free food and drinks in the refrigerator. We are 2 people and we can sleep separately, 1 in the sleeping room downstairs, 1 on soft bed on upstairs I love the windows can enjoy the sunshine and have a look to the river price is reasonable, ams accomodation is expensive
Cons: may be the rules of government, cannot cook, but still can use microwave. good for 2 people, if 3 people, it will be crowded, for us 2, not enough space for packing luggage , we are holding suitcase the bed is too high for us (asian girls) , but we understand, haha

Great place great location
Pros: Great location walking distance from the centre. The stocked fridge was very much appreciated from the hosts.
Cons: Was a little bit small but I was in a group of 3, If I was travelling with my partner it’s a fantastic size for 2 people.
