Exception accommodation in a great location

Pros: Everything about the apartment was exceptional. Extremely well furnished, underfloor heating in the bathroom. Comfortable bed and the location perfect. The host thoughtfully left wine and biscuits to welcome us. Information sheets available for TV, Wi-Fi etc. Second time at this lovely apartment and we will definitely return again.

Pros: This is a beautiful apartment, very clean and comfortable. It is close to the shops and restaurants - a perfect spot.We loved being right next to the canal and liked to sit at the front of the house and watch the boats and paddleboarders. It's good for families young and old as there are no stairs and there's a nice walk-in shower. Good communication from the owner, too. Easy to get to on foot from the train station.

Cons: We came by public transport but there is no parking very close by if you are travelling with a vehicle.

Perfect Comfort combined with an Excellent location

Pros: Absolutely perfect. Immaculately clean, beautifully furnished with everything you would want in a holiday apartment. Wine and biscuits as a lovely welcome gift, comfortable bed, lots of hot water for a shower or bath, well appointed kitchen... gas cooker, a chef's delight. We felt so at home, so secure and in the centre of the old town but in a lovely, quiet street. Can only highly recommend and will definitely return. Thanks to the owners for providing such a haven.

An attractive, quiet, clean and functional base from which to explore Alkmaar and its surrounds.

Pros: The apartment is in an excellent location from which to explore Alkmaar; it is close to the town centre yet very quiet. It is a very spacious property and possesses a very good array of facilities, especially in the kitchen area. The owner was very helpful too, both before the trip and during it.

Cons: The lighting in the double bedroom was not functioning properly, leaving only two small bedside lights to illuminate the rest of the room. Also, guests should be prepared to pay a city tax for each day of their stay, so leave some euros spare!\

A great stay in beautiful Alkmaar

Pros: The apartment was spacious, well-equipped, and in a perfect location. The host was very responsive to questions. We were truly sad to leave after our week was finished. We loved the apartment and we loved Alkmaar!

We recommend Casas de Casper.

Pros: Spotless, well located near a canal , spacious, well equipped, comfortable beds, quiet but close to the sites. We recommend this place and will return.

Cons: Only the bathroom door kept sticking! Everything else was as it should be.

Charming, spacious and light, clean and comfortable canal appartement in the center of Alkmaar

Pros: Charming, spacious and light, clean and comfortable appartement at a great location at one of the most beautiful canals of Alkmaar, close to lots of nice streets, shops, restaurants/bars and other things. Good facilities (kitchen, bathroom, sitting area, bedrooms, etc). Friendly owners (contact through booking app) and very friendly and helpful mother of one of the owners who lives above the appartement. The price is high but the appartement did not disappoint. Children’s cot and high chair (for toddler) were missing at first, but were on our request quickly brought by the owners mother (mentioned above).

Cons: Nothing to mention here really.

Pros: Een heel gezellig ingericht en zeer compleet appartement (flesje wijn bij aankomst, handdoeken, zeep, koffie en thee). En niet te vergeten ook héél schoon!! Ik vind het een absolute aanrader zo middenin het centrum. Ik heb ontzettend genoten met mijn 3 dochters.

Cons: Een klein minpuntje is dat het wel wat gehorig is. Maar dat weegt voor mij niet op tegen hoe mooi het appartement is.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft mitten in Alkmaar.

Pros: Optimale Lage mitten in der Altstadt, viele gute Restaurants in der Nähe.
