Pros: Both the room and bathroom were large and airy with high ceilings. The style was indulgent and witty making for an enjoyable space to be in. The breakfasts were copious and very filling (i.e. very nice and very big). Great spot to stay.

Cons: The room temperature tended to be too warm until I discovered the electric radiator in addition to the central heating ones.

Perfect stay

Pros: The proximity to the centre and the train station, quiet in nice residential neighbourhood, super clean, comfortable bed, big room, amazing breakfast, sauna in the bathroom, shower with amazing water pressure and temperature, soft fluffy towels, very kind and accommodating host, Esther is simply great.

Spacious and centrally located

Pros: The place is in a really nice location, the room is big and yes, you get your own sauna in the bathroom (the electric one). The person running it is easily available via the phone, it really has the charm of a traditional B&B.

Cons: The studio only has a microwave so not really a full kitchen.

Very enjoyable long weekend in Amsterdam made better by a good place to stay!

Pros: Very friendly host, good breakfast and in good location. Safe neighbourhood and quiet! Didn’t get a chance to try the sauna but if I’m ever back I will need to!

Cons: Nothing comes to mind.

Excellent place to stay in Amsterdam, giving good value, great accommodation & location

Pros: Our host was great, friendly & helpful, & gave us a lovely breakfast! We loved the vintage room decoration, & enjoyed the space we had, plus good bathroom facilities. The area was quiet so good to relax after exploring the city, close to lots of places we wanted to visit so we could walk everywhere, & only 15 mins from the central station.

Very nice B&B in a great location

Pros: - great location, close to the center, but in a quiet side street - friendly and helpful host - spacious room and bathroom - comfortable large double bed - very nice breakfast - tea kettle in the room (the tea bags provided were not so great, but since Chinatown is close by, it is easy to get wonderful tea)

Cons: - the room is wonderful, but there is no cupboard (just a few clothes hangers to hang onto the bathroom door), and since it is directly to the side walk, there are permanent curtains in front of the window (one can see the sky through the upper part of the window, though)
