Top-notch apartment along canal in historic centre

Romantic private apartment

Pros: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Perfect stay — we’ll definitely return We loved our stay in this beautiful historic basement flat. The location is ideal — only about an 11-minute walk from Amsterdam Centraal, yet in a peaceful, traditional area while still being right next to shops, restaurants, bars and lovely canal views. The apartment is full of character, with exposed brick, original timber beams and a unique cave-style kitchen. The cosy sitting area, gym, table tennis and darts were great extras, and the big comfortable bed, romantic fairy lights and warm underfloor heating made it feel extra special after long days exploring. This will definitely be our first choice when we return to Amsterdam, and we’ve already said we wouldn’t book anywhere else next time. Hopefully we’ll be back again soon!

Cons: Shower pressure waant great but is minor compared to the beautiful basement apartment you get

Feels like traveling back in time but with modern convenience

Pros: Location, very quiet but close to the city, food, and the train station! The vent and the heating system are very good! Make you feel warm with air movement.

Cons: It can get pretty dark given it's half underground

Amsterdam Marathon Stay

Pros: Great apartment, great size with all amenities like kitchen, dining table ect.

Cons: The only problem was the mattress seemed quick old with blood stains on. Apart from that the room was very clean.

Great spot to check out Amsterdam from.

Pros: Location is superb. Walking distance to so many things

Cons: Bathroom could have been bigger but that’s being picky. Nice place to stay.

Pros: The apartment is unique and so much space. Good location in a quieter part of the city, yet only a short walk to bars, restaurants and the nightlife. Roel was an excellent host and we will hopefully visit again in the future.

Pros: Incredible apartment, lots of floor space and facilities for cooking and dining.

Cons: Not alot of natural light. But this is to be expected as it is an old canal house.

Fantastic place to stay

Pros: One of the most unique properties we have stayed in, large open space and plenty of different places to sit and soak in the charm of the building and its character and history. Great location to explore all that Amsterdam has to offer
