Great apartment to stay and enjoy the Dutch experience! Everything was perfect! Highly recommended!
Pros: We loved the apartment. Very nice and cozy, has everything one might need to short or long stay. The cheese and wine cellar view adds uniqueness. The bed was very comfortable, the apartment was very clear and well maintained, heating was great, location was nice and quiet but close to the center. We would love to go back and stay longer!

Pros: The bed was very comfy! The facilities were clean and tidy. We also especially loved the wine and cheese which was very much appreciated after facing some delays with the trains. The host and cleaner were both really helpful.

Well located, compact accommodation in a historic town well worth visiting.
Pros: Good location a short distance from the historic town centre and within walking distance of the train/bus station. Easy access. Quiet and clean. Generous welcoming pack. Well equipped, though we didn't find bowls for our breakfast cereal. The good pub/restaurant nearby on the corner of the main road, by the river/park, is worth a visit. We enjoyed our stay.
Cons: This may be a matter of translation, but our accommodation was a single room, not a single room apartment. Everything was in that single room with a corner divided off for the toilet/shower. In England this would be described as a bedsitter. There was not much space for two people and we decided not to cook our evening meals. It is important to look carefully at the photographs, some of which are of the adjacent two bedroomed accommodation. That said there was nothing wrong with the room we stayed in other than we felt it was expensive for its size.

Pros: It had everything u need to hav a comfortable stay complete with a well equipped kitchenette! The complimentary cheese, wine, chocolates, biscuits n coffee were a great surprise! Luv it. Very near to the cheese market n activities in the old town. Anjo was a great host. Would definitely be back or recommend it to others.
Cons: As I stayed for 4 days, except for the requested change of towels, the rooms were not made up. Would be good if it was cleaned up daily or so, than it would have been perfect. Not a very big issue for me though. Thanks again Anjo.

Cosy apartment in a delightful town
Pros: Gorgeous and cosy little apartment with an attentive host. All of the equipment needed for our 4 night stay and a very generous welcome package. Alkmaar is a beautiful little town, convenient for Amsterdam and a delightful place to stay, with a good quality of life and all the shops and restaurants you could possibly need within a very short walk.

Beautiful and comfortable stay in Alkmaar
Pros: The host was extremely helpful and responsive. The room was as exactly as described and very comfortable bed. I loved having the cheese cellar there, made me popular on my Instagram! THE welcome package foods, coffee and wine were really useful to me as I had a busy schedule and could have quick breakfast in the morning, relax with wine in the evening without buying supplies. I loved walking from this apartment to all sites in the city - relaxing and beautiful views everywhere!
Cons: There was a bit of voices heard rom upstairs or from the parking lot, but it was quite tolerable.

Cozy apartment close to Kaasemarkt
Pros: We stayed at one of the appartments, 30B, the bigger one. It was really nice. Comfy bed, nice living room area, kitchen with all important necessities. Also the bathroom offered some nice small items like body lotion, shower gel and shampoo. There is also a hairblower. The location is also good. Really close to the old town of Alkmaar and the Kaasemarkt. We arrived by train, meaning we had to walk from the Alkmaar Stationsweg train station to the apartment for about 20min. Communication with the owner also worked effortlessly.
Cons: We liked everything. It was a cool apartment on a hot summer weekend. Maybe, but of course we do not know, maybe the apartment is a bit cool during winter time.
