RITCH Aparthotel Alkmaar

Pros: Super nice place to stay! I recommend. Wifi, comfortable bed, space more then enough. Clean apartment with super nice interior.

Excellent stay in the city center.

Pros: Very comfortable and completely fitted out. With dishwasher, washing machine. Bed was very comfortable, great shower.

Cons: Everything was nice.

I would book it once again, if I visit Alkmaar.

Pros: Excellent location, in the middle of old town. Large groceries store in 50m. Underground parking in 100m. Responsive host.

Cons: Apartment is on 1st floor, next to crowded street with large windows towards street.

Relaxing stay despite busy weekend

Pros: I have been here before and I chose to come again because the rooms were spacious and excellently located in the center of town. This time I stayed on the top floor with a nice view of the church and the street below. The place was more like an small apartment than a room. I actually had a private living room and a kitchen available to use in addition to my bedroom, something which is rarely the case in regular hotel rooms, especially at the price I paid.

Cons: The room was a little hard to reach by the stairs with my suitcase and other luggage, but I managed. (The property owner even offered to help). The only real nag I had, is that the door of the shower had a leak near the bottom of the hinge which caused water to pool near the sink every time I took a shower. The property owners promised to look into it, so hopefully that will soon be a problem of the past.

Pros: Great central location. Modern, well equipped apartment. Clear access instructions from the staff and very hospitable- water, tea/coffee & a little tasty gift on arrival.

Cons: The apartment is very close to the cathedral and the bells ring all day and all through the night- you need earplugs to be able to sleep. Very steep stairs to access the apartment which would be a problem for those with mobility issues.

Great room and experience in the hearth of Alkmaar. Would go again..

Pros: Quick response to questions from staff and great room for a short stay.

Cons: Lesson learned: I knew room did not include breakfast, but did not shop for breakfast in evening. For early starters (before 8am) there is nothing open close by to get breakfast.

Great place for a break in this beautiful city

Pros: Great location. Well equipped. Easy to find. Good choice of Supermarket/cafes/restaurants etc all nearby

Pros: The room was big and equipped with everything we needed. Very clean. Big bathroom. The location was amazing. exactly in the center, close to everything. We didn't need to move the car while we were there. The owners were super nice and helpful, and answered immediately. The key is through a link in the phone which is so easy. We arrived very late, did an online check-in a day before and got the key link on the same day of arrival. Very recommended.

Good stay, but could do with a few improvements

Pros: Stayed here with my partner and my parents in 2 apartments. Comfy beds, very clean and modern apartment, good location near supermarket, really helpful friendly hosts.

Cons: Worth noting apartment 1 is directly onto the street if you’d rather a bit more of a secure apartment, also steep stairs to the other apartments that could do with a tidy up / being painted as walls are very marked and makes the property look quite tired, which takes away from the really lovely apartments. Apartment 7 also had a poor pressure overhead shower head, and the handheld shower head was leaking , room also quite hot as air con wouldn’t stay on.

Pros: Excellent apartment, great location, lovely people to deal with, really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely come back again 😊
