Great stay and lovely hosts

Pros: The property was very close to the ferry into Amsterdam and the hosts where lovely people

Cons: No blind on the front door so quite bright at night time

We came to run the Amsterdam marathon so needed self catering and comfort in an area accessible to the central district.

Pros: Quiet and calm, spacious and very clean with everything we needed for a long weekend away.

Cons: There is nothing negative to say.

Brilliant and unexpected, a really lovely place both to unwind and to visit the city

Pros: The location was much easier to reach than we initially thought, and when we arrived we were met by Rogier, who told us a bit about the urban farm, his chickens and the other small businesses on the site. The apartment itself was great: clean and well-maintained, with very comfortable beds and even a jar of local honey and some feed to give to the chickens. The small business owners were very friendly, we visited several of them and tried their delicious food and drink.

Cons: It was great, nothing to dislike.

A great place immersed in nature just a few km far from the center

Pros: This place is perfect for people who wish to visit Amsterdam. You can easily park outside the facility for free. You have just ten minutes or less to walk to the bus stop and after the bus you can take the metro to the city centre. You can get organized with a daily ticket for all the transports and this makes the visit to Amsterdam cheaper. The apartment is fine and you can really enjoy the area that is quiet and relaxing, after visiting the crowded city centre. You can enjoy the outside space available in front of your apartment and the owners were really helpful giving us the chance to organize a barbeque and eat outside. Everything was easy, also the trash was easy to throw away. We were also able to do a washing machine and dry the clothes and that was great as we didn't need to bring lots of clothes with us.

Cons: Maybe just a couple of plastic bags more for the trash but maybe we didn't find them in the house 😅

Pros: A very pleasant stay outside downtown Amsterdam. Lots of interesting and lovely things to see and do inside the farm. Love the atmosphere, fresh air, quiet nights and tap-water of excellent quality. Nothing to complain about the rooms as they are very well facilitated and comfortable. Host is super nice and helpful!

Cons: There was tight parking during our stay. Think it’d be better not to arrive at the place too late at night.

Perfect stay with family & friends - total value for money

Pros: Everything was perfect about this property. We wanted a quiet holiday apartment, where we can spend quality time with family and yet stay close by to the main attractions in and around Amsterdam. And this turned out to be a great stay! I would highly recommend this stay if you are travelling with friends / family.

A nice property if you are looking to be far from the busy centre. Highly recommended

Pros: The location is lovely and in the outskirts from the busy city. If you don’t mind walking 10 min to the bus station

Pros: Fantastic place! Comfy beds, beautiful surroundings. Nice staff. Recommend to anyone wanting to try something different for their Amsterdam stay. Beautiful lush woodland, farm, and nice homely apartments which were clean and comfortable. Make sure to ask Rogier about the history of the place. Can't wait to return.

Pros: We had short trip but that was really amazing. My daughters loved to feed the chickens and they were more excited to stay at the lodge rather then roaming the city. Lol

Great location, nicely seclusion

Pros: Great comfortable stay, comfortable distance walk to ferry wharf to main part of Amsterdam or short car ride. Perfect location out of the busy centre but close enough to be a part of it. Met the lovely owners and had a nice conversation, will stay if we are ever through Amsterdam again
