Stay overnight at Windmill Village Zaanse Schans - Amsterdam

Amazing area, cosy room with fantastic view and mostly a lovely host.

Pros: Breakfast was lovely prepared by Sharon every morning in the pink room. A selection of bread, cheeses, cold meat. On top of that yogurt, fruit and eggs. A perfect start for a day out!

Cons: There's wasn't anything I didn't like. Totally charming place.

Perfect relaxing break

Pros: Beautiful house in an amazing location with the view of working windmills. Sharon made us a tasty breakfast every morning. Sharon is a legend!

Overall a lovely, cozy, historic setting to relax and enjoy.

Pros: Beautiful location. Lovely breakfast. Fresh breads, yoghurt, eggs, meat, cheese. Arranged at time convenient for us. Served by a very friendly host.

Cons: Didn’t like the toilet being open to the living area with no door. Wish there was a lock on the door to our individual room.

Pros: the room was very big, the Location was very good at the windmill village, wonderful sea view from the bedroom

Host Sharon could not have been more helpful. Fantastic place to stay, really different experience.

Pros: Breakfast was wonderful, so many options. Bread types, jams/preserves, yogurt, fresh juice, tea/coffee. Cooked egg options. Bedroom at end of house overlooks the river on three sides. Windmill boat trips and museums on your doorstep, right outside, easy walking experience.

Cons: Unable to use the TV system. No instructions, also a few hints and tips booklet for house would have been helpful.

Wonderfull

Pros: This is the most beautiful place where we have ever slept 😍 the view to the molins directly from the bed is incredible!! Furthermore, Sharon is really nice, the breakfast she prepared for us every morning was great. The place is located in Zaanse Schans so you can have a visit there or with the train you can arrive to Amsterdam (15 minutes and a few Euro ticket) or to Rotterdam. All fantastic!!
