Recommended experience, I will definitely be back.

Pros: The hotel is actually a large house, very well maintained with a classic design. There is a lot of privacy, in fact I occasionally heard staff or other residents, but apart from breakfast hours I didn't see anyone. The rooms are very comfortable, from the shower to the bed, the courtyard is beautiful, and the only staff member I met was lovely. Recommended experience, I will definitely be back.

Cons: At breakfast, the vegetables weren't the freshest, and the variety could perhaps be improved a bit, but what I did eat was very tasty, and the atmosphere was very pleasant.

Great stay

Pros: This hotel is located in a lovely area, the rooms are clean and spacious, the bar are is very well looked after and has everything you need. This is the 5th time I stayed at Villa Trompenberg and I will be coming back for sure.

Delightful boutique hotel in great location

Pros: The decoration and style of the hotel is beautiful. Every details has been considered. The breakfast was wonderful, there was a great deal of choice and they kindly catered for my gluten allergy.

Pros: I am a very private person and due to business, I use 3 or so hotels every single week of the year and dislike having to deal with more people than absolutely necessary, so to have the easy self check in and check out without seeing a single person and also having the quality and comfort of a boutique hotel is wonderful. The fact that if you are hungry or thirsty, you can serve yourself if fantastic. A wonderful place and an absolutely fantastic system. I would recommend it highly. The surrounding area is quiet and well manicured.

Cons: I am trying to think if there was anything but nothing comes to mind.

Great country-side-like place to spend a relaxed time.

Pros: Lovely house in Hilversum (30-40' from Amsterdam) in a fancy neighborhood, with several rooms and a separate garden shed (where we stayed). Every detail is thoughtfull, with a super comfy bed and bedsheets, nice bathroom, great furniture and plenty of space. It's mostly self-service, with available snacks and drinks in the reception area, and an excellent breakfast with made-to-order eggs, prepared by the super nice host. We went for a single-night escapade, and would love to come back for a longer stay.

Cons: The house is on a very busy road, so it's a bit noisy - but we didn't have any problems to sleep.

Unique vibe and atmosphere

Pros: Amazing and unique experience! We loved the vibe and atmosphere of the place, the interior design, the large room and bathroom. You can feel this place has history! We also got a breakfast, which was nice.

Cons: Walking from Hilversum centre took 20+ minutes. If you are carrying luggage, it might be an issue.
