Perfect for a short stay when visiting Amsterdam and of course the Singer Laren Museum (a gem!)

Comfortable hotel

Pros: The hotel has cozy common areas with plenty of spaces to spend time together. There is a lot of greenery nearby; from the window you can see trees and neighboring houses. Naarden can be reached on foot in 25 minutes, and it also takes about 25 minutes to walk to the center of Bussum and the train station. The bed was large (220×200) and soft, with two pillows per person. The room was very clean.

Cons: Our room was designated for guests with pets, and some of the cabinets appeared chewed, likely by dogs. It’s clear that the hotel is quite old, but everything is well maintained.

Pros: Great now old, possibly 70s or 80s, done up very well. Great foyer. All was fine. Nice and quiet. Large room.

Cons: Bat was anodyne, but fine.

Modern hotel with lovely rooms and public areas

Pros: Most interesting social public area - very modern and accessible. We had a mini suite which was a lovely open space to spend 4 nights

Cons: Rather quiet over the weekend we stayed clearly used for business stays during the week. Car parking was on sight but a distance from the entrance.It would have been good to have used the terrace entrance nearer to the car park for access generally.

Pros: Beautiful hotel in a lovely leafy residential location, a short walk from the Naarden fortress. My room had everything I needed: a sash window that fully opened, giving fresh air from the garden; a kettle and fridge; a safe deposit box, both a bath and shower; comfy beds; large desk with lamp and a television with channels already loaded.

Pros: In the middle of the night, I discovered a problem with my phone charger. I rang reception, and within 5 minutes there was a knock on the door, and a smiling receptionist handed me one I could borrow. Saved me a LOT of problems.

Cons: It was all fine, except that the bathroom sink drained very slowly.

Pros: The room was very spacious and comfortable, and clean. Very tranquil environment, I was surrounded by trees, which was lovely! Everything was good. There were tea and coffee-making facilities in the room. The breakfast is outstanding! Really good, with lots of healthy options, boiled and scrambled eggs, and lots more.

Cons: The hotel is at the outskirts of Bussum on the way to Naarden. We needed a taxi to go to an event in Naarden, which was rather complicated to get, and needed to be booked well in advance via the reception. That made it a bit difficult to move around, apart from walking.
