Very Clean & Friendly Staff

Pros: The room was exceptionally clean and very well maintained. The staff were incredibly responsive, friendly, and genuinely helpful. They answered all my questions and did their best to assist me with everything we needed. The atmosphere was comfortable and quiet, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Cons: But there were a few small things that could make the experience even better. It would have been nice to have shampoo and toothpaste provided in the room. Also, having a small fridge would be a great addition for extra convenience. Other than that, everything was very comfortable.

We will be back!

Pros: The outside is very deceiving. Inside, it’s quirky and fun with really interesting decor and artwork. I really liked the old fashioned cinema seats on every floor (which you may need if you take the stairs) but the best bit was how comfortable the beds were. I’ve never slept so well whilst being away!

Cons: I was gutted that we weren’t staying longer!

Pros: The hotel was clean and the staff were more than helpful! The breakfast was lovely and a very reasonable price. It was in a great location, in walking distance to the city center and the train station

Pros: Affordable option with a great location and wonderful staff.

Cons: We tried to have breakfast one of the days and gave up after sitting in the restaurant for 30 minutes without getting service

Nice unusual hotel! Super clean.

Pros: The location. Removed from the city center but close enough though. Welcoming staff. Cleanliness.

Cons: The two nights I stayed, it was a little noisy: people partying (no the hotel’s fault of course but the window (single glazing) was not helping) and works very early in the morning.

Hotel with lovely views

Pros: Exceptionally clean. Staff at front desk kind, helpful, and friendly. Early check-in was facilitated and when original room given was not quite ready, we were moved to another room with a fabulous view of canal swimming area and ships.

Cons: Ate breakfast twice in hotel and lunch once. Food was lovely and service great. Staff friendly. However on the final day we went for breakfast and the waitress welcomed us and then forgot about us . She took an order from another customer that came in after us and then started to put away dishes. She realised what had happened and kindly apologised, then proceeded to do the same thing again, forgetting about us and taking an order from another couple that arrived after us. We left and had breakfast elsewhere. This in fairness, I believe was the exception and not the norm.
