Jaz in the City Amsterdam

Best option when attending an event nearby!

Pros: Excellent location when attending an event nearby. It is 10 seconds away from entering Ziggo Dome. The metro and train station Bijlmer is 5 min walk and bus 300, heading to airport, is super convenient. Staff was super cool and kind. Room big, modern, nice, clean, chapeau for the window seats to read a book or to simply watch the window. A nice touch, the room had 2 bottles of water waiting for me, a complimentary gift, well much appreciated. Bravos!

Cons: A little inconvenient, at the check in you are requested to pay, in addition to the room price (in my case, paid in advance), the city tax, which was quite pricey, for one nigh, a person: 21.43 euro. This is the hotel policy, I get it, yet please make sure to inform the customer about any coming mandatory taxes, that need to be paid, in addition to the room price. It is nice to be in advanced informed, regardless the amount of money.

The perfect hotel

Pros: The location: right to Ziggo Dome makes it perfect if you travel for a concert. The stuff is kind. The room was big and clean. Highly recommended!

Pros: I like the staff are extremely friendly and very modern vibe being next to stadium on match days are very exciting and actually have no complaints.

Cons: Location is ok however be prepared to pay around £20 euros back and forth to get to central Amsterdam.

Great stay for a show at Ziggo Dome

Pros: Very close to the concert venue, ability to check in, pay and check out online, very friendly staff that didn’t push themselves, feeling of freedom and respect. Room looked amazing and bathroom was top notch.

Cons: Price was high.

Pros: Brilliantly located for AFAS Live, and easy via the Metro into central Amsterdam. Design style is modern and works well

Cons: Only let down by an asthmatic shower (dribble) and a very limp shaving mirror - quite important for make-up when you are as blind as me!!!

Great Music! Great Hotel? Jazz Hotel

Pros: We really like to see a concert at the Ziggo Dome. The best way to do this is to stay at Jazz Hotel.

Cons: We loved the hotel and not disappointed.

Pros: Incredibly comfy beds and nice fitness and sauna area. Great breakfast too!

Cons: Dark rooms and weird creaking sounds in room

Confortable hotel near AFAS with great breakfast

Pros: This continues to be my favourite hotel when going to a concert at AFAS Live due to the comfortable bed and spacious room with great amenities. This time I also decided to get breakfast and even though the price is quite steep, the breakfast was very high quality with lots of option and even a separate oat milk coffee machine!! The staff at the breakfast is very kind and they even pointed out all the vegan options for me and created a vegan platter for me with some vegan cheese, hummus and an awesome brownie!

Cons: As I mentioned last time, the only downside is that the temperature of the room was really cold in the evening/during the night and pressing \

Close to train station and lots of room.

Pros: Stayed here for meetings at the ING offices. Perfect location.

Pros: The hotel is very convenient when attending a concert in the ziggo dome or Arena. Both right next to it The rooms are spacious and clean. No waiting time for room to be ready Good black out blinds in the room Toilet seperated from shower area

Cons: The atmosphere in the breakfast area is a bit cantine like. Breakfast is good, but when it is busy you are seated in the back what seems to be used normally as a conference room Online check in only covers 1 room if you booked multiple rooms Only 1 chair in the room. There is a low to the ground seating area near the window. Nice but too low for elderly guests.
