Mid week city break

Pros: The room was a good size and extremely clean. Good selection at breakfast. Location is out of the city around 40 minutes on the trams and 20 in a cab, area is quiet. The staff are all students training at the college and are keen to be helpful. This is not your normal hotel set up but if your willing to go with the flow and accept the busy college atmosphere its great value compared to city hotels.

Cons: Nothing really, it would maybe be helpful to explain the college environment in more detail in the hotel description,as on arrival we were slightly taken back by the busy reception area. Bar closes at 9.00pm as its run by the students.

Pros: Our stay in Skotel was brilliant. My niece and I travelled together for her birthday and the staff made a lovely fuss of her, decorating the room with bunting, Tony's chocolate, a note and balloons. They even sang her \

Cons: Nothing, the customer service was excellent. It is a lovely area to stay in, I felt very safe and there was excellent local amenities. I would not hesitate in recommending friends and family to stay here.

Cons: I would have liked better seating in the room, like a small sofa or arm chairs. I didn't like the pictures. There was no plug in the sink.

Pros: From the moment we walked in, the staff were very polite and friendly. James Dean, thank you for your support. Very good breakfast. Veeeery comfortable bed.

Cons: You will need to describe the exit to the hotel car park in the garage. It will be much clearer.

Lovely hotel - staff make it a fantastic experience

Pros: Breakfast was very good and the staff went out of their way to prepare a marathon pack for us on the day of the Amsterdam Marathon. Room was lovely and very clean, hotel was very quiet so no banging doors etc at night. Student staff were wonderful.

Cons: Lack of fridge in my room (center parcs room)
