A strong recommendation and all the best to Nancy and Baner!
Pros: We stayed for a week and it was a very nice stay. You can tell the efforts Nancy and Baner put to make the place cozy and comfortable. Lots of awesome details, for example the night light under the bed/near the stairs, blankets, and outdoor furniture etc. The stuff in and out are well picked with taste, especially the bedding - I like the duvet cover and pillow cases in particular and instantly! Needless to say the stunning surroundings. Love it, thanks for hosting us!
Cons: I wish there was cooking facilities;-)

A house for a peaceful stay
Pros: An authentic farm environment, a comfortable house with charming decoration. The bathroom is well-equipped and clean, featuring both a bathtub and a separate shower. Breakfast can be selected in advance from a menu that includes both hot and cold dishes, and it was absolutely delicious. The host was exceptionally kind and always responded promptly.

Pros: The location is a magical rural area close to the city of Gouda where we found many wonderful restaurants and attractions. The owners have some chickens as well as some Hungarian sheep, which are almost like goats...they are friendly and if you know Sheep you can talk with them readily as they talk back to you. The breakfasts that the owners can provide use the best of local cheeses, breads, liver pate, jam, butter, and eggs, along with the best yogurt I have ever enjoyed. My wife and I very much enjoyed meeting the friendly owners and our stay at their guest house which used to be a horse stable many years ago. Luxury appointments in the bathroom were welcome and we really felt lucky to be able to enjoy such a nice stay.
Cons: If you prefer to be IN a city, this isn't your place. However, it is just a short drive from downtown central Gouda and the drive seems minor for a great view in a rural location.
