Amazing stay in a lovely area - highly recommended!

Pros: I loved the location of the studio - very friendly neighbourhood where you can go swimming just in front of the house and feel like a local. Communication with Etienne and all the local tips that he provided us with - priceless!

Pros: The host sent us amazing amount of information, including how to get around, where to eat, personal favourites, what to do around the city, it was the most personal and comprehensive guide of Amsterdam I've seen! Location is fantastic, very quiet neighbourhood, in front of the water, just few minutes from public transport and 10 minutes from the supermarket.

Cons: Sound isolation could be better, but in such a quiet neighbourhood it is absolutely not a problem.

Pros: L'accueil, la chaleur du lieu, le confort du lit double

Cons: La taille du logement nous a surpris, et le lit simple en hauteur n'avait pas une barrière de protection assez haute pour nous sentir en sécurité. Interdiction de fumer à l'extérieur du logement, il fallait aller dans la rue.

Pros: Очень чисто и уютно. Этьен очен любезный, всегда на связи и готов помочь. На мини кухне есть маленький холодильник, чайник, кофе машина с капсулами, тарелки, чашки, нож, разделочная доска, чай, сахар. Плиты нет. Очень понравилось что квартира рядом с каналом, загорают люди и даже купаются, но вода грязная. До ближайшей остановки 10мин пешком.

Comfortable, dependable arrangement, coveniently located.

Pros: Located in a residential Eastern area of town, by the canal, 2 minutes from public transit and 10-15 minutes from Amsterdam Centraal, it is quiet and at the same time offers a glimpse of how modern Dutch city dwellers live. The owner is a very hospitable host!

Uns hat es in Amstedam sehr gefallen und wir würden auch gerne auf die Unterkunft zurückgreifen!

Pros: Sehr freundlicher und hilfdbereiter Gastgeber mit guten Tips für den Amsterdam-Trip. Sehr bequeme Betten. Kühlschrank und Kaffeemaschine vorhanden. WC mit Waschbecken und separate Dusche. Highlight für Wasserratten: Wasser vor der Tür mit Badesteg -Wasser saukalt Ende März ;)! Gute Busanbindung in die Innenstadt. Wirklich schöne und historisch interessante Stadt mit sehr vielen kulturellen Angeboten.

Cons: Was die Ästetik etwas schmälert ist, dass man quasi durch die Garage das Zimmer erreicht - uns hat es aber nicht gestört. P+R ist ziehmlich umständlich und kann bei Fehlern leicht sehr teuer werden. Mit Bangen, Zittern und etwas Glück, ging bei uns alles gut. Allgemeines: Leider spricht man kaum deutsch - englisch ist Pflicht, wenn man kein holländisch kann. Mann kann eher selten mit Bargeld bezahlen - Kreditkarte ist ein Muss! Amsterdam ist für deutsche verhältnismäßig teuer - das Essen ist fast doppelt so teuer wie bei uns.
