Boat & Boost Amsterdam

Would definitely be recommending the Boat and Boost to anyone wishing to visit Amsterdam.

Pros: The overall comfort of the accommodation, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was ideal. The luxury room would appear to be even better.

Pros: Could not recommend enough ! The best hospitality I’ve ever received . The property was spectacular and extremely clean . Amenities were next level , not to mention the bed was to dream for even tho it may look small in the photo it was huge ! And you’ll sink right in it . John was eager to make sure I enjoyed my experience and I sure know where I will be booking in future visits to Amsterdam , host turnt freind ! Even a bottle of bubbly to welcome !

Great stay on a traditional Dutch houseboat

Pros: The area is easy to get to via public transport bus and rail, the room is excellent, spacious, well laid out and well designed. The hot tub and sauna are an excellent addition and are easy to use and enjoy. JP is a very nice, friendly and interesting host and has a beautiful friendly 4 legged friend to boot!

Great host, great room, great place, Would stay again!

Pros: Loved the location, felt far enough to be away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to a cute neighbourhood with cafes and bars and easy access via tram into the centre. Boat was so cool, felt very modern inside and finished to a high standard. Room had lots of nice little touches. Felt very safe and secure and loved looking out of the sky view window. Host was very friendly and made me feel very welcome - he and his dog are lovely!

Cons: Nothing, I thought it was wonderful, but some considerations for future guests: Whilst it wasn’t a problem for me, the bed is up a set of steep and narrow steps going to the ‘top bunk’, and some people might not like this especially if they have to get up in the night to use the toilet. Again, As a solo traveller it wasn’t an issue but if you were staying here with another person you’d have to be ‘well acquainted’ as the shower offers minimal privacy to anybody else in the room and you’d be ‘very on show’ :)

Fantastic!

Pros: The host is incredibly helpful and polite, and has obviously put a lot of time, energy and expense into this business. The accommodation was well appointed and clean, and very quiet and peaceful. It was in a good location a short trip outside the main city but a 5 minute walk from the tram stop which will take you directly into the city in 15 mins.

Cons: Nothing. The host has done everything possible to make this stay as good as possible.

Pros: Nice spot away from the city noise but close to go on the bycicles. 10/10

Pros: JP is lovely, and the boat itself was class - we went during a storm but felt no disruptions from weather whatsoever! The complimentary Heinekens and cava were a lovely touch, and we would love to come back :)

Pros: We had a wonderful stay! The room was exceptional and the host could not have been more accommodating. We cannot wait to return.
