Pros: It was a lovely boat, nicely decorated and welcoming, very comfortable, had all the amenities you could think of. The night at the mooring was something else, so powerful was the silence. Also, and very importantly as we visited in winter, it was nice and warm. An outside sauna can be used and there is a restaurant very close by. The owner was very present and made sure we were comfortable at all times.

Cozy House, Quiet Area, and Responsive Owner

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay here. The house felt welcoming and had everything we needed to be comfortable throughout our visit. There was a dedicated parking space for guests, which was very convenient. Getting to the city center was easy and didn’t take much time, making it simple to explore and run errands. We stayed during the winter, so the area was very calm and peaceful, which we appreciated. However, it’s easy to see that in summer the surroundings would be lively and enjoyable, with plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. Communication with the owner was easy and smooth, as they were responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. Overall, it was a great place to stay, and we would definitely consider coming back in the future.

Cons: However, if you are taller than 190 cm, the toilet and bathroom may feel a bit small and uncomfortable

Pros: Such a different and exciting place to stay. The staff were accommodating throughout and were very understanding when we had to delay our arrival because of our flight being delayed. It was warm and comfortable and was a lovely place to be amongst the snow and ice.

A wonderful cosy spot, 30 min walk from the centre

Pros: The boat is in a lovely gated community area with amazing people. The boat itself is clean, although some flies knocking around. It suits 6 people perfectly.

Cons: Little bit cleaner! Bit of dust in some areas, but otherwise fab. Some fruit flies knocking around, suggest looking at the plants/stagnant water etc

Great value for money when traveling as a group.

Pros: Nice change to a hotel. The host was fantastic and aloud us to check in early as the boat was ready.

Quirky boat in an up and coming area

Pros: Great boat which was cosy and well equipped., Bit further out but reasonable access from. City centre via ferry or Metro and good local supermarkets, excellent bakery and couple of bars. Coffee machine, pods and tea bags were a nice touch. WiFi was good for the teenagers.

Cons: Access was a little unusual down a slightly dark road. Facilities on-board a bit cosy for tall people, as well as a few knocks to the head when lying down in the double bed.

Pros: Lovely space for the group. Clean and user friendly

Cons: The stairs to go downstairs are VERY steep

Idyllic setting

Pros: 2 minute Ferry journey from Amsterdam centraal then a relaxed 15 minute walk & easy to find place in a safe neighborhood. Boat was ideally kitted out, immaculately clean & peaceful.

Pros: Very interesting experience, living on the boat. We were 4 friends and the flottant was enough for us. The staff was kind and very responsive to all our messages. Would certainly book it again.

Fun quirky and surrounded by a chilled community perfect for someone looking something a bit different

Pros: Something a bit different in an area that’s close enough to Amsterdam centre but far enough to relax away from the bustle

Cons: Lights in bathroom didn’t work but it did t take from the overall positive experience
