Cozy Cabin at houseboat

Good location, comfortable stay

Pros: Great houseboat located in a nice area, just a short walk from the city centre. Very easy to get around either on foot or by tram. The area has little footfall past it, so it was very quiet. The accommodation area is very compact, and when visiting in winter - as we did - you don't get as much benefit from the outside space as we might have in better weather, but it was perfectly fine for the 2 days we spent there. It was very clean and tidy. The owner was very accommodating in allowing us to drop our luggage off early and we were able to stop outside and offload and then go and park the car, which was very convenient.

Cons: The sitting area wasn't the most relaxing space. There are 2 chairs, which were practical for eating alongside the small table, but not very comfortable for relaxing in. There may be a better alternative that are more multi functional.

Pros: Great location. Lovely area of Jordaan. 15/20min to certain part of the centre but allows you walk the canals and stumble across different places. Boat itself is lovely. Kitted out for what you need for a few nights stay. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful place to stay in Amsterdam

Pros: This houseboat is a little gem! Situated on a quiet canal it is a perfect place to watch the world go by. A lot of thought has gone in to equipping it. We loved sitting up on the roof with a coffee or a drink. There was even a tame neighbourhood heron. Lots of nice shops and cafes nearby too.

Pros: Communication with the host was extremely good. Very cute and cozy room. Slept very well wnd would definitely consider comming back!

Cons: Since it was only for 1 night there wasn't any time to dislike anything 😉

Something new

Pros: It was such a nice experience to staying in a houseboat, Claire was away but someone else was greeting our arrival, we arrived early but they still let us to check in early, very nice of them. Everything you need were there, they have kettle, coffee machine, fridge, stove if you really wanna cook, TV, hair dryer, even iron, the boat was clean, you can climb up to the roof to chilled and enjoy the canal view with a drink, check out time at 11am but you can leave your belonging in the boat till around 3pm, and we were lucky that we finally met Claire while she's was cleaning when we go back to pick up our luggages, had a little chat and took a couple of pictures with her, very nice person, we will be back to that boat next time when we are back to Amsterdam and recommend to my friends. Thanks so much Claire, hope to see you again soon

Pros: The room is not big but it has everything you need , it is very clean , the bed was perfect, the pillows were perfect. The location is very central . The communication with the owners was perfect. They let us sleep until late , we checked out at 14:00. They were drinks inside, coffee. I can keep on talking, but the place is very cozy. For sure we will be back.

Cons: The stairs to the terrace was a bit difficult for me 🤣

Pros: Had a lovely stay. The owners are super nice and easy to communicate with. The houseboat itself is very cosy and heats up very fast. Enjoyed soaking ourselves in the bathube/jacuzzi after walking around in the cold.

A must stay!

Pros: The houseboat was awesome. Such a lovely peaceful location and a short walk right into the hustle and bustle of the city. The beds were super comfy. Claire was a great friendly host. Highly recommend!
