fabulous

Pros: very friendly staff, beautiful rooms, well kept and clean. Very comfortable and we were able to walk easily to Haarlam and restaurants etc.

Lovely apartment and friendly host

Pros: Lovely host and great communication, well thought through and everything needed for a short stay, coffee machine was good and small kitchenette. Haarlem is lovely and an escape from the crazy Amsterdam

Cons: Steep stairs but that's the design of houses in that areas

A wonderful break in a great place the Rose is highly recommended.

Pros: It was an excellent location and easy to walk or take a bus or train to other places.We could relax and take in sights in Haarlem. The friendly and informative owner was very accommodating.

Cons: Be careful if you have problems to climb narrow stairs. With big heavy luggage is not easy 😀

Wonderful

Pros: The accommodation was very well situated with easy access to the town of Haarlem and all other facilities. It was very comfortable, spacious and clean. The host was very friendly, easy to contact and provided useful information. He even helped us to get our suitcases up and down the steep stairs on arrival and departure

Cons: Not an issue as the host helped us, but be aware that, as mentioned by others, the stairs were very steep.

Perfect place to stay in beautiful Haarlem

Pros: Beautiful little apartment in a quiet and pretty area of Haarlem. Easy stroll into the centre of this beautiful little city. We also walked to the station and got the fast train into Amsterdam- really easy and much nicer than staying there! Spotlessly clean and great facilities- the bathroom is fantastic with a huge bath and really good shower. Lovely sunset view over the rooftops. Great and thoughtful communications with the host, who gave great tips for parking and local restaurants. We only stayed 2 nights but would have liked to be here longer to cycle to the beaches and explore more of Haarlem. Perfect for our family of 4- we were comfortable and happy and appreciated all the thought that has gone into making this a great place to stay. Thanks for having us!

Cons: Nothing to report! Traditional steep stairs were expected and not a problem. Warm in the apartment but can open all windows for a lovely through breeze and fans provided.
