Pros: Rob's house is in a very convenient location for visiting Haarlem. It is within 10 minutes walk of just about everything, and also close to bus stops. The stop for the number 300 bus direct to the airport is 3 minutes walk. Several cafes at the Botermarkt are just around the corner. The room itself is on the ground floor and very comfortable and well equipped.

Pros: We loved Rob's attention to detail. The room and facilities were lovely and well maintained. The guest house is central to Haarlem and transit is very easy to find.

Cons: No complaints

Beautiful room in central Haarlem

Pros: Very beautiful (and high-tech!) bedroom, with a separate loo and bathroom across the hallway. Centrally located in Haarlem, but the quiet pedestrian street meant it was very quiet at night. Especially liked the warm welcome and farewell from resident ginger cat Lola (NB: She's not allowed in the bedroom, so cat allergy sufferers need not worry). Thanks Rob for a lovely stay, and for the handmade chocolates and nuts!

Cons: Breakfast (egg, croissant, juice, muesli, tea and coffee) was very nice but on the small side, especially as we were cycling 70km that day. However, there are supermarkets nearby, and crockery and cutlery, so we simply added our own extras.

Pros: Third year I'm staying here(!), a charming room on a quiet ally just in the centre of Haarlem, short walk to anywhere and easy accessibility to Amsterdam Hosts were wonderful, respected needed privacy, very friendly and helpful Spacious room with all you need, private bathroom and toilet A sweet spot I always love to come back to

Pros: Located in the centre of Haarlem within easy reach of restaurants and shops, Rob was very welcoming and accommodating and provided us with a delicious breakfast, A great find; highly recommended

Brilliantly situated, lovely guesthouse

Pros: The hosts are lovely, the room is comfy and well equipped. The location can't be bettered. It's on a quiet side street, but only 5-10 minutes walk to the centre. A couple of hundred metres from the bus stop where the 300 bus from the airport drops you off, or alternatively 15 minutes walk from the rail station. Plenty of fine eating and drinking to be had nearby.

Cons: The text says there is a private entrance, we took this to mean that our room and private bathroom would be separate from the main body of the property. Actually you enter through the front door like anyone else, and the bedroom/bathroom/shower room are arranged around a central hallway, which is the main thoroughfare into the house. This was the only aspect which was less than ideal, and may have been down to our imperfect understanding.

Lovely stay and well looked after

Cons: It wasn’t en suite Didn’t realise we would have to walk across the hall to get to the toilet and shower It wasn’t very private when the shutters were open, passers by could see in.

Pros: The room exceeds the expectations of the most demanding traveler. It is quiet, clean and comfortable, with everything you need. The sights of Haarlem are within walking distance: the Frans Hals Museum, Grote Sint-Bavokerk, the Molen De Adrian Museum. The owner Rob is hospitable and attentive, has excellent taste, I was especially pleased with the small but such pleasant details. Thank you very much dear Rob, everything was ХОРОШО!))

Excellent place to stay, however we would have liked the facilities to be attached to the room.

Pros: This place is very tastefully decorated, and the host Robert has thought of everything you may need. Breakfast was lovely. 😻 we went to a restaurant on the corner called Frenchies, delicious we would thoroughly recommend this as well. ❤️

Cons: The facilities were not attached to the bedroom (toilet and bathroom were in the hall)
