Pros: Very good location (centre of town and next to station) and above a good restaurant. Communication was very good. There was some unclarity since I also made a booking for my brother. They checked before the cancelation date in order to give me the opportunity to cancel in case I had made an error. Much appreciated (-:

Cons: First night the heating was not working. I signalled the next morning and it was immediately fixed.

Pros: Great bed and shower. Staff very friendly and the restaurant was good too

Excellent location to access all that Castricum has to offer. Clean spacious accommodation.

Pros: Excellent central location and spacious studio apartment. Fantastic steak meal in their restaurant below.

Cons: Steep stairs to access the apartment.

Lovely place but beware of the access stairs

Pros: The location was excellent, just 100m from the train station. My room was a nice size and fully equipped. Breakfast (separate charge) came in a basket delivered to my door and was very good.

Cons: The access, via outdoor stairs at the side of the building, was no more than just adequate. The steps of the stairs are somewhat tricky and slippery in wet weather. There is a serious need for better non-slip material to be placed on the steps.

Unbeatable value for money

Pros: I particularly appreciated the warm welcome and then the restaurant, which offers excellent meat dishes and great service.

Cons: Perhaps the breakfast, offered as a packed meal, was just okay — nicely prepared but nothing special; I, for instance, enjoy having eggs.

Lovely place.the food in the restaurant was amazing

All I needed as a base for my stay in Castricum

Pros: Breakfast was basic but good range of foods. Pre-packed in picnic basket (no opportunity to choose items) eaten in room or balcony.

Cons: No issues.

Best B&B so far in our holiday.

Pros: Breakfast was good. Fab hamper. Staff brought us a decaf coffee to the room as there wasn’t any available for the machine.

Cons: De caff pods and milk rather than powdered.

Clean , comfortable , great service , location and really good value for the money

Pros: We were at a family get together so did not have breakfast as went to their home. Ate in the restaurant which was superb.

Cons: Only because I have a bad knee I had to take my time on the stairs outside ! But … hey , we are in Holland and stairs are mandatory 😂

Super comfortable and convenient

Pros: The location is excellent. It is very close to the train station and to the village. And the space works so well. This is one of the most comfortable BnB type places I've ever stayed in. And I definitely recommend ordering the breakfast basket. It contains a delicious and generous, selection of fresh foods.

Cons: Be aware that there is a metal, outside staircase to get up to the top floor where the accommodation units are located.
