This family-run B&B is a floating-villa moored on the IJ-Lake in Amsterdam IJburg, the most innovative and famous new urbanization in Netherlands. Perfect holiday at the house on the water

Pros: The location was very special, it was a house on the water, very quite place a little bit out of centre of the city but very well connected by the tram 26 (in 12 minutes from the central station). The host was very kind and helpful, for us it was like staying at home. The room and the bathroom were very clean and there was everything we needed.

Fun, quirky place to stay with a fabulous host.

Pros: Host was great, very welcoming and helped us to decide where to go and best way to get there. Situation was quiet but a fair way from the centre.

Cons: One toilet between 4 people was worrisome, and it potentially was one toilet between 6 people. Sound proofing between rooms wasn't great.
