Charming house in a beautiful village.

Pros: This a charming historical cottage with its character right in the middle of a very beautiful village. The house was very cosy, well equipped and spotless clean, the hosts are very welcoming, we are very grateful. The location is ideal - pubs/restaurants with harbour view is right next to it. Free parking a couple of minutes walk. There is also a direct bus to Amsterdam (if you travel by car and want to avoid pricey city parking). The only things we missed was a washing machine, as we had been travelling with kids through Europe for a couple of weeks already. Otherwise it was an ideal stay.

Nice quiet place

Pros: We had a great relaxed time in Monnickendam, the flat is perfectly equipped, comfortable, nice and quit place, very wellcoming host. Close to everything you need.

A lovely comfortable cottage in an attractive little town.

Pros: A lovely little cottage in a very attractive little town with good bus link to Amsterdam. Everything was comfortable. The little courtyard was also very nice.

Pros: Everything was perfect! Els is a great host! Nice house, comfy bed, very clean. Free parking place just a minutes walk. And Monnickendam itself is a great place to visit, Volendam is very close and easy to reach Amsterdam.
