Hoorn

Pros: The owners were so kind and helpful. The property has been restored to keep in with keeping of such an old building. We loved the church too. It was really clean. It is a great position to explore Hoorn so close to the station and parking nearby.

Cons: Only thing we didn't like was the steep stairs. You have to be fit to stay there.

Charming historic converted church in Hoorn

Pros: Location. Close to Hoorn train and bus station and main shopping area. Restaurants are close by. Sights to see are all within walking distance. Arie always gave great customer service. Place came with a big garden. The charm and character of a converted old church would transport you to another time but with a modern twist.

Cons: No extractor fan in bathroom. Just kept bathroom door open. Not too bad, but would help. Downstairs can get warm, we came in a surprise heatwave, would be nice if place had windows that can open downstairs.

Pros: Great stay, very central location, beautiful building!

Pros: We were looking for somewhere to stay as a base for exploring the area. This was perfect. Close to the train station, the middle of town, food, bike hire places and parking. We like staying in properties with a bit of 'character' too, so this was great. Everything was just as described and therefore what we were expecting. So yes, the stairs are steep but that's part of the character of this property. The kitchen space is small but enough for making coffee and tea and preparing simple meals. And it has the perfect 'book nook'! The garden space is lovely and we slept soundly in the VERY comfortable beds.

Lovely B&B part of a church and very central

Pros: We loved it - it was ideal for us. Right opposite the station. We arrived by bus from edam in the morning and we were able to leave our bags which was great. Very convenient for everything. Really nicely renovated and in keeping. The courtyard outside is a bonus- to sit and have a drink. A fridge and microwave so all we needed. The bedrooms are lovely.

Cons: We didn't mind the stairs up to the bedrooms but they are very steep. I'm 76 and no problem but for some people they may be. Nothing else.

Pros: Geweldig, bijzonder huis. Heel rustig, mooie slaapkamers met prima matrassen. Gunstige ligging in centrum Hoorn met allerlei restaurants en winkels vlakbij.

Cons: Heel steile trap. Wc alleen in badkamer op bovenverdieping.

Bijzondere plek om te overnachten

Pros: Monumentale woning, veel ruimte en comfort, fantastische locatie
