Deluxe STUDIO-appartement Heemstede Zandvoort

Faultless.

Pros: Quirky loft, very comfortable and nicely furnished. It has lots of steps and, typical of The Netherlands, those steps are steep. A number of restaurants nearby with all the nightlife of the beach resort at Zandvoort, only 10 minutes away by car. The hosts were exceptionally helpful and friendly and I would have no hesitation staying there again.

Cons: Nothing whatsoever.

Cozy attic room in Heemstede with a lovely host family

Pros: This is a pretty attic room on the third floor if counting ground as first floor. The host kept it very neat and tidy. It has an adorable view. Reni was pretty kind, friendly and welcoming. The house show elegance and it was giving the vibe of being home and cozy. Well done for this lovely setting and good luck for your next visitors!

Cons: Nothing in particular, however keep in mind that you need climbing stairs since it is an attic room.

Sharing the house with the hosts

Pros: Located 500m from a train station, it gives you easy access to the center.

Cons: It's not mentioned in the description that the hosts share the house with you. They were very kind but it means that there is a complete lack of privacy. This isn't what I expected based on my reading of the facilities before booking.

A good stay in Amsterdam

Pros: It's in a very nice location. Good restaurants and shops. Only a short walk to Haarlem. Which is very nice. Hosts very nice Used it as a base to visit Antwerp and the Hague

Great accommodation.

Pros: What a lovely place with absolutely delightful hosts. Compact and very well equipped and with a very comfortable bed. Everything was spotless. Reni, the host, was so helpful with local knowledge which was much appreciated. Great location for use of public transport with both bus and train within a short walk making Haarlem and Amsterdam easy to reach.

A well located apartment for visiting Amsterdam.

Pros: We had everything we needed. Apartment was 500metres from the train station and a 20 min journey to Amsterdam. Bed was comfortable. Clean and fresh dressing gowns and towels were made available to us. Hosts were lovely.

Cons: The stairs were quite hard to navigate with luggage . The shower/ toilet was on the floor below which was a little inconvenient in the night however it's an attic apartment so was to be expected. This isn't mentioned in the booking. Not suitable for someone with restricted mobility.

Lovely studio in a great location and with helpful hosts!

Pros: Location was great. The room was delightful - it was nice to have the kitchen space. The hosts were very professional and helpful - they went out of their way.

Pros: We had a lovely 4 night stay. The hosts are two of the most loveliest people you could ask to meet. The Apartment is spotless clean and is in a beautiful location. The metro to Amsterdam is only 5mins walk. great stay.

Cons: It’s very tight. as a fit 6ft tall man, the romance of the attic losses it appeal. there are 2 steep spiral staircases it’s worth it but gets tiring. I also have to say it has a B&B feel to it which I don’t like. Lovely hosts though.
