I would definitely stay there again for the kindness of the host, the value for money and location.

Pros: Quiet location. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Easy to access and host very helpful with information regarding local amenities.

Cons: The cooking facilities were disappointing. The microwave was small and no oven. A toaster would have been nice too. A bit of padding on the seating of the dining area would have improved comfort when sitting.

Pros: Insane experience. The boat is super comfy and has a nice Connection to the City, Coffee, supermarkets and the train. Theres everything you need on the Boat. The beds are bigger as they Look on the Pictures. Dont forget to Open the Windows for fresh Air

Cons: We were a bit challenged by the loo. VERY tiny cramped space. A real challenge for our 2 tall men.

Pros: The boat was a lot more spacious than we were expecting and we had a very comfortable stay. Amsterdam was experiencing a heatwave but bedrooms stayed cool enough by leaving the doors to the hallway ajar. Great restaurant on the corner just by the boat.

A charming & well located property with character.

Pros: The houseboat was a charming & comfortable property and more spacious than I expected in its living quarters. We found it well located, close to public transport and close enough to the centre to walk down the canal but also, and more importantly for us, far enough away to escape the very crowded central area. Recommend both Bar Lempicka & Bakhuys nearby for breakfast / pastries. Hosts were very helpful giving us plenty of information in advance on the local area & allowing us to leave the luggage for a couple of extra hours on the day we left..

Cons: It was very hot onboard but we had been left an ample number of fans. Bedroom could do with some blinds to block the early morning light but we made do and hung up some shirts.

Cons: If you have mobility issues then steps down to the loving quarters are tricky, and the toilet is compact, being a larger person I had to pee with the door open, but both these factors were clearly explained on website, so I didn't have a problem with it.
