The perfect apartment in central Alkmaar

Pros: This is a lovely spacious apartment with lots of light and views over the Almaar old town. Diwa, who met us on arrival, was delightful and was very helpful in arranging an earlier check in

Pros: Great location in the centre of Alkmaar. Beautiful apartment. Top marks for Nespresso machine and jug of cold water in the fridge. Extremely kind and welcoming host.

Pros: It was a wonderful stay!! The apartment is located in the heart of Alkmaar. It was so easy for us to access to the cheese market, restaurants and the old town area. It also has an amazing view!! The host Diwa is so friendly and provided us good information and help. We’re so happy with our stay and would definitely recommend it if you ever travel to Alkmaar!

Pros: The accommodation is spacious and has beautiful views of the city. The apartment was very clean and well decorated.

Cons: The shower box could be revised, as it allows water to leak into the bathroom.

Pros: We were very warmly welcomed by Diwa, who showed us the apartment, told us interesting things about Alkmaar. She was extremely nice and friendly and really made my mother and me feel very much at home. The apartment has its very unique charme placed high above the roofs of Alkmaar. The beds were comfortable, the sights were great and we didn't miss a thing. Most of all, though, we could always send Diwa a short message, like when we forgot how to tune in the German channels on the TV, and Diwa would always reply immediately, friendly and help us!

Cons: Everything was fine and special. We can only recommend this beautiful place. The only thing that might be difficult for some people, older or physically handicapped, are the long way up to the third floor. But that's well known and you can read it in the apartment's description, so no reason to complain. The reason, as Diwa explained to us, is that the house is under monument protection, so you can't build a lift in there.

Pros: Modern and clean In the middle of the city center

Cons: Was very transparent shared but quite some stairs to go and the bells ring a bit louder from the church next door

Pros: Everything was perfect, we arrived at the apartment the owner welcomed us very kindly, she gave us a bottle of wine for our anniversary. The apartment has beautiful views throughout the center, I would really come back... RECOMMENDED.
