Cons: •\tThe internet connection was notably weak and sporadic, which could be a significant inconvenience for guests requiring reliable online access. \t•\tThe staircase was extremely narrow and felt dangerously steep, making it a safety hazard, especially for families with small children or for anyone with mobility issues. \t•\tThe WC and toilet area were quite small, which might be uncomfortable for some guests.

Perfect place to stay in Alkmaar
Pros: I have stayed in apartments all across Europe and this one is right up there as one of the best. Suzanne, our host, is charming and made us feel extremely welcome when handing over the key, supplying us with useful information regarding the apartment and the nearby attractions. The apartment is spacious, incredibly clean throughout and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The beds are large and very comfortable and there is plenty of hot water for showering. The location in a quiet side street is perfect and allowed for a great night's sleep, yet is only a few minutes walk from the main square with its delightful cafés and restaurants. If you're looking to stay in Alkmaar, then look no further than this fabulous apartment.
Cons: We enjoyed a wonderful visit to Alkmaar and only wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you!

Lovely, spacious flat in beautiful town 40 mins from Amsterdam
Pros: Spacious, bright, clean and very comfortable. We really appreciated the dimmable lights, Nespresso machine and the terrace (although it was a bit too cold to use it when we visited). There is a lovely bakery on the next street over, great for breakfast pastries, a lot of good pubs and restaurants, and a big supermarket on the way from the train station. We took the train into Amsterdam every day and it could not have been easier - just tap in and out with a card.
Cons: There are a few things that could have made it better, but they are fairly minor! For instance, it would have been useful to have more plugs especially in the bedrooms, and more coat hooks by the door. It would also be great if the internal stairs were carpeted as they are very steep and very slippery.

Topverblijf op een toplocatie. Heerlijk voor een stedentrip!
Pros: Echt een toplocatie in Alkmaar! Je loopt zo de winkelstraten in. Het appartement is ruim, dakterras is echt een plus. In principe is alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt. Beddden waren prima. Suzanne is een hele fijne en gastvrije host, die snel reageert. Enige nadeel is de herrie vanaf de straat als je aan de voorkant slaapt. Veel uitgaanspubliek, straatveger en heel veel meeuwen. Als tip zou ik toch een mini vaatwasser overwegen. Al was het maar omdat je gewoon geen zin hebt om af te wassen. De spullen worden dan toch schoner in de kast gezet en dan is de keuken echt van alle gemakken voorzien.
