Nice, spacious and filled with natural light.
Pros: Lovely and spacious, great view of the street. The host helped carry one of our suitcases up the steep stairs to the front door (such stairs are typical in Amsterdam I might add!), which we really appreciated. Comfy beds. The host was responsive during our stay, arranging for extra sheets, a toaster and laundry detergent promptly when needed. Both bedside lights in the main bedroom were not working, however once notified this was promptly fixed.
Cons: I received a message from rental management group 5 days before check in, providing details for me to transfer the 500 euro deposit. This was difficult to do once I had left my home country (Australia) and was already overseas, and would have been helpful to know earlier as we booked the property in February for a September stay. The deposit was returned on day 13 after checkout, but only after I sent messages asking if further details were needed- I needed to provide my bank details. This process would be so much smoother if automated. The dishwasher didn't work during our stay which meant we needed to handwash dishes, as the tablets did not dissolve which meant the dishes were coming out unclean. Edited to add in response to the host: I did notify via WhatsApp during our stay that the dishwasher was not working, as it was very inconvenient given that I had to handwash the dishes. I think because you encourage contact via booking.com but also WhatsApp that you are missing messages and the ability to be able to respond to guests in a timely manner, which can also cause confusion from your end. Also with regards to the deposit and deposit refund- yes, this is stipulated, however you made no attempt to contact me for my bank details to action this. I had to send 3 messages about this to chase this up, as there were great delays in replying to messages after we checked out. Many people have commented about this frustrating delay, so perhaps it's time to get a better process in place. As I said, this process should be smoother and/or automated. This put a dampener on what was otherwise (other than the dishwasher) a great place to stay.

Amazing property great location and great staff
Pros: This is a clean and spacious property which is very central to the busy Amsterdam. It is far away enough to not hear noise at night time. The apartment was very clean on arrival and had enough towels for 6 people. The communication between accomodation management and host was very easy. They were very flexible and friendly despite having a 5 hour flight delay and missing check in time they were able to wait at the property until we arrived for check in without issues. Property had baggage storage following check out at 11. Kept our luggage there until 3pm.
Cons: The stairs are VERY steep but it was quite funny lugging our suitcases up with the host

Pros: Appartement spacieux et proche du centre ville et des musées. C'est idéal pour pouvoir visiter la ville et l'espace cuisine permet de pouvoir se faire à manger facilement (si l'on ne veut pas faire que des restaurants).
Cons: ce n'était pas de la faute du logement mais nous avons eu des voisins du dessus très bruyants : ils ont fait la fête toute la nuit du samedi au dimanche et ils n'étaient pas particulièrement discrets.

Wonderful, authentic and spacious!
Pros: We loved the location, the ample space and the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in!
Cons: We didn't realize we needed to bring the deposit in cash so the host walked us to an ATM. We didn't receive our deposit back until weeks later. Everyone else takes a credit card deposit, so that was a bit inconvenient.

Tolle Wohnung in super Lage
Pros: Die Ausstattung und Lage der Wohnung war sensationell. In 5min war man Mitten in den Einkaufsstrassen oder auch im grossen Vondelpark. Der Host war sehr freundlich und hat bereits auf uns gewartet.
Cons: Das Badezimmer war nicht sauber, es hatte noch Haare an der Duschwand und Zahnpasta am Wasserhahn. Ausserdem mussten wir selber noch WC Papier kaufen, da es nur eineinhalb Rollen für 4 Tage /4 Personen hatte. Der Rest der Wohnung war aber tiptop.
