Plantage Hortus Apartments

Very comfortable, great location, very minor improvements can upgrade the experience further

Pros: The location was fantastic, very close to the zoo, very close to the trams and even the Nemo science museum. The studio accommodated the family of four comfortably, kitchen facilities were good. I liked the storage very much lots of storage for a flat of this size

Cons: Minor things, the WC did not have any shelf so it was difficult to place a soap there. The shower room with a second whb did not have a rubish bin. The heating was a bit eratic, we did not know how to turn it on or off. And there were some noisy visitors, but this was not on the hotel.

Well equipped and conveniently located apartment that gave us a cosy base.

Pros: It was in a good location and directions were really clear. It was a good size for us and we were able to cook meals with ease. The beds were really comfortable and clean and it was good to have control of the heating temperature.

Cons: We were prepared for the steep stairs but they are very steep we did miss somewhere comfortable to sit and relax.

Pros: room was good sized, clean, and in a good location.nice quiet location within walking distance central station.within walking distance of tram stops and the metro.

Perfect for a short stay.

Pros: Comfortable clean bed with a lovely big bath which I fully enjoyed. The kitchen area has limited space but adequate for a short stay.

Cons: I would have liked a sofa as the hard chairs were uncomfortable. Could have had a few more pots/pans to cook with.

Good apartment, moderately good location. Spacious living room, spacious king/queen bedroom.

Pros: Rooms were ok, as expected. Kitchen/dining/living room spatious. Good, that there are 2 toilets of which one is equipped with shower, therefore if shower is taken and you need only toilet - no need to wait.

Cons: Living room would be superb if there would be cozy lighting (e.g. LED strips, other type of lighting (e.g. table lamp). Bathrooms were quite cold, floor heating would make different experience in a good way.

Pros: Apartment was very basic but comfortable . The staff at the hotel we picked our keys up from were very helpful and even arranged a taxi to airport for us when we left .

Cons: Could be cheaper for what you get

Family friendly, cantral, friendly stuff

Pros: We booked an apartment at the Hotel Allure for our autumn holiday in Amsterdam (the apartment was about 10 minutes from the hotel in the Muidergracht plantation) and were not disappointed. Everything we needed (dishwasher, coffee machine, cutlery, plates, towels...etc.) was provided and served us well for the week. Check-in and check-out were very pleasant, and the staff were extremely friendly! If we come back to Amsterdam, we will definitely look for another apartment from Allure! Best regards from Austria!

Cons: The water pressure in the bathroom wasn't particularly high, and the Wi-Fi signal and bandwidth were rather weak... but the lovely atmosphere of the apartment and its central location more than made up for it.
