STAYSOME Amsterdam Hemonystraat

Pros: absolutely lovely room, clean and comfortable. at first i was a little bit worried about not so good reviews, but everything was great!

Cons: the deposit payment. i missed the email, didn’t pay and even didn’t know about that, when i arrived, i hadn’t access codes because of that. but thanks for the support, i paid everything and got all the codes smoothly. it was totally my bad. so keep in mind- check your inboxes for emails!

Very nice stay

Pros: City rooms are perfect for a weekend trip to Amsterdam. They are located in walking distance of many interesting attractions, cafes and delicious restaurants. Self check-in went smoothly.

Will be staying again

Pros: Location is great, very clean, the stairs add character to the property and this is very common in Amsterdam

Pleasant experience, close to city center and easy to access.

Pros: The bed was super comfortable, digital access and codes were well described, overall pleasant experience.

Cons: The window curtains had stains, bed linen had a little grey stain and the sheer window curtain could use some ironing, it would look better. I do not understand the need for 200 euro deposit for a single 3-night stay, not everyone has that kind of money on hand and information about that was not available/not clearly said before the booking was done.

Pros: Location was great, bars, restaurants, shops and a market all near by. Bed was very comfy and was good to have coffee and tea in the room. Great size room for a short stay. The digital access to the building and room was really simple and easy to check in.

Cons: The room was quite warm, the windows didn't stay open. There was a fan but would have been good to have AC. The stairs leading up to the room are quite steep, not suitable with someone with mobility issues.

Good but could be better.

Pros: Everything is new and well maintained. Location is perfect , walked everyday to the city center but close as well to the tram.

Cons: No towels change or cleaning service throughout the stay. The payment of 200 euros that you have to make separately so that the check in will be confirmed, it should be written on the booking before paying for the room and also be automated, not having to check my booking messages. Room was small but understandable and manageble.

Pros: Apartment is spacious, bed is comfy, nice bathroom, warm, location is good, out of centre, but near a tram stop which takes 5 mins to centre. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Was very clean and modern inside

Cons: Steep stairs but common here tho, shower drain clogs easily, only 1 towel each for 4 days, no room service. They take a 200 euro deposit, which you get back couple days later, but costs me about £10 in currency transaction fees on my credit card

Pros: The room itself and the bathroom were really comfortable, the furniture and deco all seemed brand new or at least well maintained....

Cons: The balcony was nice but I feel could do with a freshen up, didn't look like the pictures.... The lack of any facilities to store anything cold was disappointing.....

Beautiful time. Wish it could be longer - will def come back!

Pros: The balcony! Makes total difference to have it! even in the winter!

Cons: The stairs - but that is because i had too much luggage, my own fault.

Pleasent stay

Pros: Area very quiet. Easy to get to by tram. Very clean and comfotable.

Cons: Could hear toilet flushing and shower being used from other rooms. Sewer smell from toilet.
