Charming mansion on a beautiful river

Pros: Beautiful mansion on the river Vecht. Great views of the river and close to charming restaurants. Our room was very comfortable and quiet (double-glazed windows) despite being close to a local road. Very nice breakfast.

Cons: I would have preferred a thinner pillow on my bed as an option. The ones we had were all a bit too thick for my personal taste.

Great place

Pros: Location is great and the freedom given is great as well

Cons: The window could not open in full in our room and there is no airco so it was quite warm

Pros: What a stay!!!! We absolutely loved staying at Logement Aan De Vecht - how quirky, authentic, and characteristic the house was. The rooms were spacious, clean, and really comfy. And the staff very accommodating and welcoming. Initially we were not planning on having breakfast the next morning but when we woke up and saw the incredible breakfast room we changed our mind. They quickly acommodated us and served us a delicious breakfast. Very kind and very flexible. Would totally recommend.

Short vacation in a fantastic place.

Pros: Fantastic location, very beautiful room, good wifi, the beds are comfortable, coffee machine at disposal.. really a nice place to stay!

Cons: All good, only tiny details that could be improved (for example, the refillable bottle of shampoo in the shower was empty). But I can only recommend the place!

Unique stay in a special environment

Pros: Very special place , beutiful Old building with full of fantastic objects. We specially liked the breakfast area and the riverside. Our room was very specual and comfortable enough. I liked all the toiletry sets. Breakfast was superb.

Cons: There was no such a thing.

Cycling tour

Pros: Beautiful quirky property full of interesting collectibles. Close to several restaurants. Comfortable roomgreat shower toilet seperate from room.Good bike storage. Quiet peaceful setting next to canal.

Cons: Stairs very steep not good for people with poor mobility.

Great place to stay for a relaxing weekend away.

Pros: Lovely room slightly on the small side but had interesting photographs on the wall. The bathroom was large enough but could have done with a few more hooks for towels as there was only one. We loved the feel of the old house and the breakfast room was gorgeous with views to the garden with some large, old trees and the canal.

Cons: It was all pretty good so I would be nitpicking.

Perfect stay on day 1 of our Holland cycling tour.

Pros: Fantastic location, fabulous rooms, breakfast was terrific, made us feel very special.

Pros: Very nicely located accomodation with wonderfull garden ajoining the Vecht river. Beautifull common rooms. Very nice served breakfast in convervatory overlooking the garden

Cons: Steep stairs to second floor room

Beautiful place, we loved it!

Pros: Stunning breakfast served in a beautiful room, wonderful easy check in, clean rooms with everything you need. Room was also beautifully decorated and you really feel 'at home'. The grounds and hotel in itself were absolutely beautiful with all little bits and bobs - decor and what not, so tasteful and interesting to have a wonder around. The view on the river was lovely and we wish we booked the room with the outside area as it looked amazing. The weather was incredible which added to the beauty of the garden and the sparkling river views. Most amazing restaurant next door, do not hesitate to book there! 1 min walk away so no driving (slangevegt- incredible!!) This is like a 'home' stay kind of place, which we really like, boutique vibes - but if you are wanting some kind of uber fancy modern style, this isn't for you. We however loved it!

Cons: Nothing e didn't like, but for other travelers who might be picky : The hotel is on a busy road so if you are looking for a very quiet place, think twice - this didn't affect us but to be sure for other travelers. We stayed in the loft room which was perfect for us - the toilet is outside the bedroom + steep stairs to get to the top. None of this concerned us but you may be toilet shy (even though this is totally private) or not able to do the stairs with a big suitcase. The windows COULD do with black out blinds for light / sensitive sleepers but this is an added luxury for the more modern hotel stays (see other comments) so bring an eye mask with you. Once again, this wasn't a concern for us at all and slept like logs. We had a truly beautiful stay here and would return in a heart beat. Thanks to everyone!
